Principals Message
As I look back on April, I feel a tremendous sense of pride regarding all of our accomplishments in our Vedder Learning Community. During our last student of the month assembly we had many students being recognized for their ability to be both competent and caring citizens. At this months assembly we will celebrate many students for the following: super readers, for unity, for perfect attendance, for school leadership and service and finally, for school athletics. This outstanding citizenship reminds me of a quote, Leadership is doing what is right when no one is watching. As we move into May, we will continue striving to be a safe, positive and respectful place where a passion for learning is shared by all.

Spring Concert
The Intermediate Students at Vedder Elementary are proud to present a time of music and drama celebrating the virtues we believe in at Vedder! Join us to discover how we build character, what it means to be responsible, and which virtues are parts of our code of conduct. With humorous skits and lively music, this production is sure to create a positive feeling about how these students live! The concert will take place on Wednesday, May 16th at 12:30 p.m. in our gym.

Parking Lot / No idling Zone

Our parking lot continues to be a safe and respectful area. Thank you parents for driving slowly, not having your car idle and for obeying our drop off and thru lane system.

PAC Meeting
On Monday, May 14th, our PAC will hold its Annual General Meeting. Elections will be held at this time. Please come and share your ideas at this very important meeting. Please note our 9:00 a.m. start.
