A public informer; official platform to recognise & acknowledge humanitariun exellence and strategic tool for enhanceed socio-economic development
Over 25 000-employment opportunities exist in South Africa as a direct result of the more than 170 French-owned companies or subsidiaries of French companies doing business in South Africa. Clearly it is more than exceptional cuisine and wine, coupled with the revered French standard of customer service and excellence, that make welcoming French interests onto South African soil, a formal pleasure. The wealth of culture and knowledge transfer that results out of South Africa and Frances ever increasing trade must be realised. Together with the National Department of Social Development, The National CSI Registrar (NCSIR); a directorate established for the modernisation and enhancement of South Africas corporate social investment sector, is recognising South Africas top corporate contributors to socio-economic development. This incorporates the formal gazetting of a national registrar of businesses, for promotion throughout governmental, corporate and public spheres of South African society as Businesses for a Better Tomorrow. These businesses will become recognised as our nations preferred goods/service providers. This agendas second stage integration sees the launch of South Africas Official Development Quarterly as established for the Department. NCSIR has been building up to this influential step in its Development Agenda since 2010, making quarterly broad sheet releases in some of SAs most followed and prominent newspapers which recognise businesses NCSIR has verified to be far exceeding their legislative requirements in social investment and time contributions. The impact this has had on corporates taking their CSI spend far more seriously, is noteworthy. As a gesture of goodwill and to further promote increased balance of trade between our two nations - NCSIR is inviting all B-BBEE certified French organisations who have implemented CSI programs or strategies to make contact for participation. The official development quarterly will be the most distributed development focused media on the African continent and one of the most circulated in South Africa. Each quarterly will see the businesses NCSIR has verified as good corporate citizens, being formally acknowledged by the National Department of Social Development, South Africas most prominent and internationally recognised NPO sector members and NCSIR. Ensuring credibility to consumers and acknowledging the immense importance of corporates such as yourselves. The upcoming launch features the internationally respected Desmond Tutu Legacy Trust as well a personal message of support from The Honourable Archbishop himself. In promotion of strengthening relations and rewarding excellence in French business;
70% reduction to levies has been facilitated for first 20 eligible organisations & and up to a further 10% reduction may be rebated by NCSIR, per verification result. Your communications will be provided with immediate attention. SOUTH AFRICA ACKNOWLEDGING - French Businesses for a Better Tomorrow. [Circulation ABC2011: 1 184 000]
