Desirable:
a)
Preferred areas of specializations in various departments are given in Annexure-I. However, candidates with other relevant areas of specializations may also be considered.
Candidates applying for more than one Department are required to submit separate application forms. Reservation as per Govt. of India norms apply. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PH categories should attach certificate obtained from Revenue Authorities not below the rank of Tahasildar or from a First Class magistrate of the place of domicile of the candidates clearly authenticating the category to which they belong. They must also clearly indicate the category to which they belong in the application form. allowances like DA, HRA, CCA etc are payable in accordance with Central Government / Institute Rules in force from time to time.

e) Besides the basic pay in the applicable pay band of the respective positions, admissible
g) The Institute reserves the right to offer some of the positions on Regular / Contract /
Deputation basis. The appointments on contract / deputation shall be for a maximum period of 5 years.
h) Candidates without Ph.D. degree may be considered for the position of Assistant
Professor on contractual basis. They would be considered for regularization as per Institute norms after obtaining the Ph.D. degree. However the maximum contractual period is only Five years.
i) Mere fulfillment of the required qualifications and experience, does not entitle a
candidate to be called for interview / selection. The Institute reserves the right to fill or not fill any of the positions.
j) The number of positions may also vary as per the need of the Institute at the time of
recruitment.
k) The Screening committee shall shortlist the eligible and most desirable candidates to be
called for interview from amongst the applicants, based on specialization, availability of candidates, and requirements of the departments. In doing so it shall not be bound by the options exercised by the applicants.
l) The Institute reserves the right to restrict the number of candidates for interview to a
reasonable limit, on the basis of qualifications and experience higher than those prescribed in this advertisement.
m) All Degree Certificates should be from recognized Universities / Institutes. n) Candidates in Govt. service should send their applications through proper channel. If
original application is routed through proper channel, a photocopy of the application should be sent in advance before the prescribed last date. Such candidates are required to produce No Objection Certificate at the time of interview, failing which they may not be considered for interview.
o) Candidates will have to appear for the interview at their own cost if called before a Staff
Selection Committee on the date and place which will be separately notified to the candidates. SC/ST candidates will be paid TA as per GOI norms for attending the interview.
p) Selected candidates should be prepared to join duty within the time granted.
q) The newly recruited faculty are encouraged / supported to take up R&D activities with
financial support, like seed grant, and professional development allowance as per Institute norms.

Attach copies of three best (in your opinion) Refereed Journal papers 2) Details of Awards, patents, prizes etc.: Nature and name of Prize/Award, Name of the patent, year and details about the patent etc. 3) Details of Research guidance (Ph.D /M.S./M.Tech.,/M.Sc./MBA) : Research degree, name of the scholar, title of thesis, year of award, co-guide, if any, etc. 4) Details of research/consultancy projects carried out: Title of the project, duration,
sponsor, quantum of funds, co-investigators, if any, etc. 5) Other activities: Text books and Monographs written with publication details, Continuing Education Programmes /Conferences organized. 6) Any other relevant information concerning your academic standing.
