Paush Putrada Ekadashi 2025: Puja Vidhi
To observe Pausha Putrada Ekadasi, start by cleaning your home and nearby spaces to create a
sacred environment for worship. Gather essential puja items, including fruits, sweets, flowers,
diyas, incense sticks and an idol or picture of Lord Vishnu. In the morning, wake up early, take a
bath and wear clean white or yellow clothes. Light a lamp, offer prayers to Lord Vishnu and vow
to fast.
Perform the puja rituals by placing the idol or picture of Lord Vishnu on a clean platform. Offer
fruits, flowers, and sweets to the lord and chant sacred mantras like "Om Namo Bhagavate
Vasudevaya" or the Vishnu Sahasranama. You can also recite the Santan Gopal Mantra to fulfil
your wish for offspring. After sunrise, start your fast, which can be either a nirjala vrat (without
eating or drinking) or a phalahar (consuming only fruits and milk).
To conclude the fast, stay awake at night and engage in prayers, chanting, and meditation. The
next day, on Dwadashi, break your fast after sunrise with light food. Express gratitude to Lord
