INTRODUCTION
• A controlling the room lights with your handsignals to scheduling events
to occur automatically, home automation has taken convenience to a
whole new level.
• Instead of using mechanical switches, you can now conveniently control
all the devices in your home from your fingertips.
• This tutorial will show you how to setup a simple home automation
solution allowing you to control almost any electrical device from your
smartphone.
• The core hardware is rather simple and only consists of an Arduino
microcontroller kit,ultrasonic , and a relay.
OBJECTIVE
▪The purpose of home automation is to make homes
simpler, better, or more accessible.

REFERENCE
• D. Sarkar et al.(2020) said that the development of a gesture recognition systemfor home automation using a Leap
Motion sensor. The system was designed to recognize hand gestures and convert them into commands to control
varioushome appliances. The article showed that the proposed system was able to recognize various hand gestures
effectively and control home appliances accordingly.
• J. Patil et al.(2020) discussed the design and development of a gesture-based home automation system using an
Arduino microcontroller. The system was designed to control various home appliances, including lights, fans, and air
conditioning units, using hand gestures. The article showed that the proposed system was effective in controlling
home appliances using hand gestures.
• P. Basu et al. (2019) focused on developing a gesture-based control system for home automation using a Raspberry
Pi. The system was designed to control lights, fans, and other electrical appliances using hand gestures. The study
showed that the system was effective in controlling home appliances using hand gestures, with an accuracy rate of
85%.
• Di Lecce et al. (2019) developed a gesture-based control system for a smart home using a wearable device. The
system used an armband equipped with motion sensors to detect hand gestures and control various devices, as lights,
blinds, and heating. The study found that the system was effective in controlling the smart home devices using hand
gestures.
• J. B. Nam and J. W. Park et al. (2019) proposed a gesture-based control system for home appliances using a 3D
camera. The system was designed to recognize hand gestures and convert them into commands to control various
home appliances. The study showed that the proposed system was able to control various home appliances effectively
using hand gestures.
CONCLUSION
• Gesture control home automation is a promising technology that
hasthe potential to revolutionize the way we interact with our homes.
The ability to control various devices and appliances in our homes
through simple gestures could provide a more convenient, efficient,
and personalized user experience.
• Despite these challenges, the potential benefits of gesture control
home automation make it an area of continued research and
development. As the technology improves, it could become a valuable
tool for enhancing the overall user home.
