Worked on the Technical design document and present it to the Project Manager for approval. Involved the NDM and MQ support teams to establish and test connectivity. Detailed analysis of the file format was done to ensure that the layout is correct. Developed Informatica maps, workflows and UNIX shell scripts to parse and load the files. Worked closely with data-modeling team to analyze the current model and identify if any changes were required to be made. Unit tested the process and worked closely with the QC team. Financial Client Developer The RBNA project was initiated to bring in the acquired retail banks data into a global repository and maintain it for 7 years as part of the Federal requirement. Sourced data from DB2 database for RBNA project. The sourced data was then parsed and stored into Global Information Warehouse. The data was first loaded into a staging table and was then validated / parsed using informatica powercenter 7.1.2. Informatica Powercenter was used to move data from staging to the warehouse, the informatica map performed validations to enforce GIW standards before the data could be pushed to the Warehouse. The validations included lookups being performed to derive Clients internal branch code. Various informatica transformations were used these included lookup, router, aggregator, update strategy to develop the mapping. Involved in informatica server sided administration like promoting folders from one environment to another i.e., from DEV to SIT, SIT to UAT and UAT to PROD. Developed Informatica workflows to call various sessions. Developed numerous UNIX scripts to parse data and these scripts were called from Informatica Pre-Session commands.
