knowledgebase article.
If you need further support, please reach out to the Remote Support team via the Dell support site:

VxRail 4.5 Code release aligns with the vSphere 6.5 code release and VxRail 4.7 code release aligns with vSphere 6.7.
If you are running either of these code releases, then you will need to plan an upgrade to VxRail 7.0 code train
before October 2022 to ensure that you continue to receive full support for your VxRail environment. VxRail 7.0 code
train aligns with the vSphere 7.0 code release.
1. Do a health check on your environment a few days ahead of the upgrade to ensure your environment is in
good shape.
2. If you have the opportunity to do so prior to the upgrade, reboot each node ahead of the upgrade. If issues
are likely to happen due to pinned VMs or other such items, it will likely happen during the node reboot cycle
of the upgrade, so rebooting each node ahead of time will ensure that these issues are addressed prior to the
upgrade.
3. If possible, reboot PSC and then VC in that order if they are internal to ensure all services are running
correctly prior to the upgrade.
a. You MUST reboot them in the correct order:
PSC first and then vCenter.
b. You can reboot the PSC through the vCenter Server GUI or the ESXi node GUI, both are covered
below.
c. In vCenter Server GUI
Select the PSC VM > Actions > Power > Shutdown Guest OS
(This option is not available in ESXi interface).
d. In vCenter Server GUI
Select the vCenter VM > Actions > Power > Shutdown Guest OS
(This option is not available in ESXi interface).
4. Ensure you have sufficient free space available for downloading the upgrade bundle.
5. Ensure that the host you are performing the upgrade from is located on the VxRail cluster or has adequate
bandwidth for uploading the bundle.
The latest pre upgrade health check is always available for download via the below links:
