Sub: Proposals for hiring of godowns at various locations in the State of Bihar…reg.
Central Warehousing Corporation (CWC) is established under the Warehousing Corporations

Act, 1962 and is functioning under the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public
Distribution, Govt. of India. CWC has been set up for providing warehousing services for
storage of agriculture produce and other notified commodities. CWC is also operating Bonded
Warehouses, General Warehouses as well as Inland Container Depots (ICDs) and Container
Freight Stations (CFSs) all over the country. CWC, being a premier warehousing agency in
India providing warehousing and logistics support services to diverse group of users of such
services, has also diversified its activities into construction, operation and management of
CFS and ICD at different places in India.
CWC is interested in hiring scientific godowns at various locations in the Odisha on long term
basis.
In this context, CWC hereby invites Expression of Interest from the interested and eligible
parties who:
i. Intend to offer readily available godowns to CWC on hiring basis.
ii. Intend to offer godowns to CWC on hiring basis after construction on the vacant lands
in their possession within six months.
Preference will be given to the locations within 10 kms from the railway good shed and
subject to the clearance from our depositors/users. The tentative list of locations along with
required capacity, where CWC intends to hire the godown is listed as below:

The offers received from bidders will be examined and analysed on the basis of their
proposals and its economic feasibility for CWC.
Interested parties are advised to send their proposal “Expression of Interest” as per the pro-
forma enclosed at Annexure-I along with necessary documents. CWC reserves its right
t o reject all the bids/proposals without offering any reason thereof. The proposals
completed in all respect should reach this office on or before 30.04.2021 through e-
mail/speed post. The proposals received shall bescrutinized and the final outcome, if any shall
be intimated to the concerned at their notified address/e-mail.
