REFLEXIVE PRONOUNS (SELF-WORDS)


The reflexive pronouns are used to give is also the rece the following
meaning.

1. To indicate that the performer of the action (subject) is also the


receiver of that action.

2. To emphasize that the action was performer by the subject.

3. To indicate that the action was performed by the subject without help.

CONJUGATED VERB + ONESELF

SINGULAR PLURAL
I GO MYSELF WE GO OURSELVES
YOU GO YOURSELF YOU GO YOURSELVES
HE GOES HIMSELF THEY GO THEMSELVES
SHE GOES HERSELF THEY GO THEMSELVES
IT GOES ITSELF THEY GO THEMSELVES

USES OF THE REFLEXIVE PRONOUNS


I To indicate that the performer of the action (subject) i also the receiver of
that action.
The self-word is used in combination with a reflexive verb.
To comb oneself peinarse. To bath oneself bañarse. To dress oneself
vestirse. Etc.
