    Dungeons and food are a pairing we tend to forget about. Focusing more on the epic fights with
    dragons or the heroes making their way through traps and mazes. With every strong adventurer having
    a stomach just as mighty. Swinging your sword or casting a spell might be impossible on an empty
    stomach. What if you can get a story that impeccably covers both.
    Here enters delicious in dungeon a rising star on Netflix with a solid 8 score on MyAnimeList. The
    show has us following a party who lose their mage, Falin to a red dragon. The party is trying to save
    the mage before she gets completely digested. Resurrection being a common occurrence in this world.
    A narrow escape against the dragon leaving their supplies low and morale is non existent.
    Story
    The protagonist Laios the knight of the party. Feeling responsible for the mage risks it all and heads
    back into the dungeon partly to save his sister. His other motivation, a deep fascination with dungeon
    creatures. In his possession a book hints at a curiosity with how they taste. They team up with an older
    dwarf gentleman, Senshi. His knowledge essential to exploring the underground structure. The
    curious structure is said to have been constructed by a crazed wizard. Inhabiting its lowest depths
    waiting for an adventurer. If they can conquer the dungeon and take their place as its ruler.
    Review
    The comedy is one of its stronger niches. The rest of the party being unwilling to consume what they
    consider monsters. Driving themselves to the edge of their sanity and hunger. Sheer curiosity has
    them questioning well founded beliefs. With how appetizing even the most disgusting of creatures can
    be. With the additional tricks accumulated by their mentor the dwarf. They create some of the most
    beautiful well-balanced meals you have seen in an anime.
    The story is a slow burn. Taking its time to familiarize you with the world. Pieces fall into place to
    build tension and intrigue. The mid point of the story sets up the increasing danger of traversing the
    dungeon. The story's scheduled to end is in the middle of June. This foreshadows a mountain of
    excitement to sprinkle through your schedule. Its weekly release schedule is my preferred dose. A
    scheduled binge in august for the power watchers promises a full experience all in one sitting.
    Watch the quintuple fight and eat their way trough some of their toughest battles. Pick up a recipe or
    two. If you ever find yourself facing down monsters in an underground dungeon. Every moment spent
    watching this show is rewarded. The mysteries of the dungeon just keep compounding with every
    level traversed.
    The action-adventure comedy genre is back with a strong showing in anime this season. The king of
    the genre Kono suba is airing its third season. Delicious in dungeon finds its niche and holds its own
    making its way to the top 5 anime airing this season.
