EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

The following executive summary presents the key findings of a comprehensive survey
conducted on the tasks and duties performed by Human Resources (HR) professionals
in various organizations. The objective of this survey was to gain insights into the
evolving role of HR professionals and understand the range of responsibilities they
undertake in today's dynamic business landscape. The survey collected data from HR
practitioners across diverse industries, with a focus on understanding common trends
and challenges faced by HR departments.

Since 2002 Gajraj Agrotech (Formerly Goyal Industries) has been nourishing goodness
and contributing towards building a healthier food chain with its durum wheat products
for millions across the globe. Ranked amongst one of world's best, the company is
known for its commitment towards quality and value offerings delivered across a
diverse product range. The company works within the 180-200 employees.
OBJECTIVES OF SURVEY

➢ Understanding the scope of HR Roles


➢ Identifying the core HR functions
➢ Understanding HR contributions
➢ Informing HR strategy related to job analysis and job design
Overall, a survey on HR duties and responsibilities is a crucial tool for
organizations to gain insights into their HR practices, identify areas of
improvement, and align HR functions with the organization's broader objectives.
The results can inform HR policy and practice changes, helping build a more
efficient, engaged, and productive workforce.

1. How HRP is done in your organization?


➢ In Gajraj the HRP is done by analysing need and supply forecasting.
2. What's your organizational structure?
➢ Three levels have been followed in the company
I. Top-level management
• Board of directors
• CEO
II. Middle-Level Management
• HR Manager
• HR Executive
• Sales Engineer
• Sales manager
• Sales Executive
III. Lower-Level Management
• Supervisor
• Labour force
3. How many mergers or acquisition have your company done?
➢ No mergers and acquisition have been done yet.
4. What's the recruitment process of your organisation?
➢ First the HR finds the portals like Naukri.com and Indeed, Hirect etc.
• Then the screening of the resumes
• Shortlisting of the resumes
• Scheduling of the interviews
• Final interview with the HR Manager
• Onboarding of the candidate
• Orientation of the candidate
• Interaction with the other employees

5. Have you given job enlargement to any employee? What was the work?
➢ Didn’t get appropriate answer from the HR manager.
6. Have you given job enrichment to any employee? What was the previous position
and current position?
➢ Didn’t get appropriate answer from the HR manager.
7. Does your company follow job rotation? If so, then how?
➢ Yes, they do the job rotation to motivate the employees.
8. Do your company take HR Audit? What were the benefits of that audit? Was that
audit internal or external? How did you tackle any negative statement by the auditor?
➢ Yes, the company does Internal Audit twice a year.
9. What method of HR audit was followed by the auditor?
➢ No appropriate answer.
10. How is training conducted in your organization?
➢ Training is dependent according to the need of the company. For middle level
management the training is given by the head of the specific departments and
for top level management the experts outside the company are called to provide
the training.
11. What kind of training do you give to your employees?
➢ No specific training is given. The training is provided as per the needs and
requirements of the employees.
12. Training is conducted on what time interval basis? Monthly, quarterly???
➢ Twice a year.
13. Approximately how much HR cost is needed for 1 employee?
➢ No appropriate answer has been given.
14. Does your company conduct exit interview?
➢ No
15. Is there any employment test conducted in your organization? If yes, then what
kind of employment test do you take?
➢ No
16. Do you use any type of AI tool for recruitment and selection process for any kind
of HR work and if yes then which tool and what that tool is about?
➢ Not yet and there is no further plannings for the same.
SURVEY RESULT

The survey results revealed that the organization's HRP process is not as effective as it
could be. There are a number of areas where the organization could improve its HRP
process, including:

➢ Better forecasting of future workforce needs. The organization needs to do a


better job of forecasting its future workforce needs in order to ensure that it has
the right people with the right skills in place to meet its business goals.

➢ More effective talent acquisition. The organization needs to improve its talent
acquisition process in order to attract and hire the best possible candidates.

➢ Better employee development and retention. The organization needs to do a


better job of developing and retaining its employees in order to maximize their
productivity and contribution to the organization.
CONCLUSION

The survey findings provide a valuable roadmap for improving the organization's HRP
process. By implementing the recommendations in this report, the organization can
improve its HRP process and ensure that it has the right people with the right skills in
place to meet its business goals. Also, proper job design should be done by the
management.
