Introduction:

The purpose of the Indigo DNA Assessment Report is to help people better understand their
own skills. The paper sheds light on three different domains: motives, driving factors, and
behaviors. Gaining insight into the advantages and disadvantages in each of the three
domains can enhance one's personal and professional growth and overall contentment. In this
paper, I will discuss my character based on my indigo report. Furthermore, studies reveal that
self-awareness is a prevalent characteristic among the most successful individuals. They are
able to identify circumstances that will accelerate their success. With the aid of this
customized and thorough DISC and Motivators combination report, I have the resources I
need to improve myself.

Part 1: DISC STYLES:

In the 1920s, American psychologist William Moulton Marston developed the DISC model.
The model identifies dominance (D), influence (I), steadiness (S), and conscientiousness (C)
as the four primary personality types. According to my evaluation, Dominance has a lower
score—25. A dominance score of 25 denotes a somewhat reduced propensity for aggression
and control as well as a more straightforward, decisive communication style. (According to
Indigo, n.d.) Choose collaboration and teamwork over taking the initiative when the
dominance scale is lower. In addition, my impact score is greater at 93. This implies a
tendency for interacting with others, enthusiastically expressing ideas, and fostering an
atmosphere that invites others to join in and contribute.
3

My Steadiness score of 57 indicates a minor tendency for consistency, patience, and

cooperative communication. Given that my stability scores are in the center, I place a higher
priority on harmony and talk more informally. I try to be cooperative with others and choose
harmony and peace than confrontation. I think it's crucial to keep up good communication
and do well in groups. Last but not least, my compliance score of 36 is far lower than I had
predicted. I see myself as a thorough, trustworthy, and detail-oriented individual. I take
responsibility seriously, so you can count on me to keep my word and meet deadlines.
The DISC model makes it simple to detect and comprehend our own communication style, as
well as to cognitively adjust to various styles and create a framework for improving
interpersonal communication.

As I go more into my DISC styles and draw on my DISC report, I would want to reiterate the
following:

Top 5 Personal skills Ranking

1 Personal Responsibility
2 Interpersonal skill
3 Leadership
4 Creativity and Innovation
5 Mentoring

Here are my top three abilities based on my Indigo:

Personal Responsibility: This ability demonstrates my responsibility and commitment to

carrying out my duties. (Indigo, n.d.) I accept responsibility for my actions and make a
constant effort to fulfill obligations and deadlines.
Interpersonal Skill: I have excellent interpersonal skills that allow me to establish rapport,
speak well, and sympathize with people. I'm skilled at settling disputes and building
wholesome connections. (Indigo, n.d.)
Leadership: Another one of my strong points is leadership. I can create clear objectives,
encourage and inspire others, and lead groups of people to achievement. I'm great at giving
guidance and encouragement to reach group goals. (Indigo, n.d.)

Driving Forces:
4

The report claims that I like working in teams rather than alone. My productivity at work
won't be affected by my worries since I always keep my personal and work life apart. My
goal is to increase my productivity and efficiency by concentrating on finishing tasks. I like
helping that in need, not so that I may garner attention from the public, but because everyone
needs assistance sometimes, and because we should all try to improve the world in which we
live. Since we enjoy greater privileges than those who do not, Steen, S. (2021) we need to be
more sympathetic to those in need and do our part to help them. Finally, I worked at my
family firm and concentrated on corporate rules to make sure everyone was treated fairly and
to strive to get the greatest result for us.

Motivators

To increase output, connections, creativity, and innovation, motivators must foster and
persuade people of the value of teams. I received a score of more than 50 on the Indigo report
for being objective, selfless, intelligent, resourceful, and cooperative (Pearce, 2018). My top
three motivators are aesthetic, social, and traditional; to prevent conflict, both motivators and
DISC must line up. I tend to be more cerebral and collectivist because I am more goal-
oriented and want to accomplish my objectives no matter what challenges I face. I'll also
make an effort to help other people accomplish their objectives Fassina, N. (2019). It proves
that I am a cooperative team member who is constantly eager to impart my skills and
resources to those in my vicinity. For this reason, I get approached by a lot of individuals at
my school, and my colleague wants me to be a member of their teams.
5

My strongest personality traits are:

The following are my strong points, which I leverage to showcase myself to potential
employers, college admissions officers, and coworkers for office work and extracurricular
activities. Practice utilizing my advantages whenever you have the chance (Indigo.n.d)

 I'm the kind of person that finds the good in every circumstance. Positive traits of my
personality include understanding, persistence, agility, and reliability.
 Acclaimed by my contemporaries and contributions for my courage and wit, which
enable me to overcome any difficult circumstance.
 When given precise data and numbers, I am a good listener.
 Dependable and methodical researcher

Weakness

The following are my personality's shortcomings based on the evaluation findings.

 I can be a bit unrealistic when judging others, especially friends or coworkers.
Occasionally, I miss important nuances.
 Sometimes I get so excited that I risk making him appear shallow.
 I behave rashly and without thinking, especially if I don't think his safety is at danger.
 I have complete faith in someone if they consistently give me positive reinforcement.

Part 2: Impact of my skills on my career

My talents rank among the most important factors to take into account while choosing a
career route. Everybody has unique skills that they may use to pursue a career of their
choosing. I will use my abilities to select a career that fits my personality. (Indigo.n.d)The
results show that I have 25 talents that are crucial for me in the workplace; these skills are
extremely beneficial for minimizing my shortcomings and maximizing my strengths.
6

I'm currently employed by a construction business as a junior officer. I largely depend on my

ability to get beyond any barriers that could get in the way of my productivity. My ability to
assume personal responsibility always comes in useful to get me out of sticky situations when
it comes to customer confidentiality.

Strength and weakness:

Among many other qualities, I believe that problem-solving and adaptability are the ones that
will help me reach my objective and succeed in both my personal and professional lives. I
don't hesitate or put things off; I have the fortitude to see things through. I make sure to make
things happen when I want them to. The most successful people in the world are those who
have maintained consistency in their efforts and goal concentration. Thus, I never gave up on
7

my activity-related endeavors. My business and personal lives have benefited from my

dedication to achieving a few goals. (Indigo.n.d)
Conversely, I should improve my conceptual thinking, which is where I need some
improvement, as well as my handling of diplomacy and my ability to influence others via my
job. I need to make big changes in the areas where I am weak and emulate individuals who
excel in exhibiting those qualities, among others. I'll try my best to socialize with new
individuals, especially those who are unlike me. It will help me expand my horizons and
teach me how to embrace diverse ways of doing things, in addition to exposing me to various
cultures at the same time.

Part 3: Action Plan

I'll make sure to incorporate the three actions listed below into my everyday routine to help
me enhance the qualities that need improvement. Below is a description of the action plan.

Improving Diplomacy  To improve your diplomatic abilities, enroll in a seminar or

workshop on dispute resolution and negotiating strategies.
 To comprehend other people's viewpoints more fully in
talks, practice empathy and active listening.
 Determine who the key figures in my industry are, then
examine their leadership and communication approaches.

Adopting a diverse  To meet individuals from different backgrounds, go to

mindset and seminars, industry conferences, and networking events.
socializing:  Engage in social interactions with people outside of my
typical social circles by joining clubs, volunteer
organizations, or professional groups.
 Strike up a discussion with coworkers or friends who are
different from you in experience or perspective.
Improving Thought  Hold brainstorming meetings regularly to inspire original
Process thought and produce fresh concepts.
 Seek guidance from those renowned for their ability to
think strategically and solve problems.
8

Conclusion:
In summary, I can better grasp my strengths and shortcomings thanks to the examination.
Knowing the sort of person I am and how to better it is also made easier by this. I wanted to
choose which areas to improve before and know where to start, and this tool helped me
understand what I needed to accomplish in the future and what I needed to prepare for when I
started my own business.
