Mount Rinjani trekking itinerary - 3 Days 2 Nights Sembalun to

Torean

MOUNT RINJANI TOUR DESCRIPTION

A Rinjani tour of 3 days and 2 nights Sembalun to Torean trips to Mount Rinjani, is the
best option for those of you who want to visit: Sembalun Crater Rim, Top of Mountain
Rinjani, Segare Anak Lake, Hot Spring, and Penimbungan Waterfall but doesn't have
much time to spar and still want to visit all of them.

But for a 3 days 2 nights Sembalun to Torean trip to mount Rinjani, you must have a good
level of fitness and be able to walk long-distance, because you need to walk about 24 to 26
hours or 28 kilometers in total. and this tour doesn't allow for people who have mountain
sickness or phobia,

The estimated of this trek is: 24-26 hours and finished the trek about 13:00 -17:00

MOUNT RINJANI TREKKING ITINERARY

Arrival Day: Lombok to The Accommodation


● Our driver will come and pick you up from any location in Lombok.
● You will be taken to your accommodation in Senaru Village or Sembalun
village.
● You will visit the waterfalls in Senaru if your arrival time is before 4 pm.
● You will then be met by our local guide for a briefing to prepare you for your
amazing trip.

Day 1: 6-8 Hours Walk to Sembalun Crater Rim (Sembalun Campsite)


● 06:00-07:00 Breakfast
Having your free breakfast at the restaurant (hotel).
● 07:30-08:00 Team
Meet your local team as your guide and porter. and drive you to Sembalun
village for 30-50 minutes.
● 08:30 Registration
Do a registration at the RTI (Rinjani Trekking Information).
● 09:00 Hiking Started and Pos-1
Start the trek from Sembalun Gate to pos-1 (pos pemantau 1.300m) and
spend 1-2 hours walking.
● 11:00 Pos-1 and Pos-2
Continue walking from pos-1 (pos pemantauan 1.300m) to pos-2 (pos
Tengengean 1.500m) after a few minutes rest.
● 11:30-12:30 Lunch
● Having lunch at pos-2 (pos Tengengean 1.500m) and spending about 1-2
hours resting.
● 13:00 Pos-2 and Pos-3
After having lunch you will continue to walk up to pos-3 (pos pada Balong
1.800m) for 1 hour and rest for 10/15 minutes.
● 14:00 Pos-3 and Pos-4
After resting, walk up to pos-4 (Bukit penyesalan 2.000m) for 1 hour and get
your rest for 10/15 minutes.
● 15:00 Pos-4 and Campsite
Continue to walk up from pos-4 (Bukit penyesalan 2.000m) to Sembalun
Crater for 2-3 hours.
● 17:00 Sembalun Campsite and Overnight
Having dinner at the campsite while you enjoy the spectacular view and
sunset.
Overnight at Sembalun Crater Rim 2.462m.

Day 2: 10-12 Hours Hike to Rinjani Summit, Visit the Lake, and Overnight at
Senaru Campsite
● 01:20 Breakfast
Wake up early in the morning and have your light breakfast with your hot
drink.
● 01:30 Preparing
Prepare yourself to start the hike to the top of Mount Rinjani 3.726m.
● 02:00 Campsite and Top of Mount Rinjani
Hike up to the peak of Mount Rinjani for 3 to 4 hours and spend like 30
minutes or 1 hour on the top of Rinjani 3.726m.
● 06:00-06:30 Descent to Campsite
Descent to Sembalun campsite for 1-2 hours down.
● 09:00 Second Breakfast
Having your second breakfast and resting.
● 10:00 Campsite and Lake
After the rest, continue down to the lake (Segare Anak 2000m) and walk for
2-4 hours.
● 12:00 Lake and hot springs
While the porter and guide prepared your lunch, you can go to visit the hot
springs or lake with your guide.
● 13:00 Lunch and Resting
Having lunch at the lake (Danau Segara Anak).
● 13:15 Lake and Campsite
After lunch, you Will continue to walk for 3-4 hours to the campsite (Kebon
Jeruk 1.800m)
● 17:00 Campsite and Overnight
● Having your dinner with the beauty of nature and sleep.

Day 3: 4-6 Hours Walk From Senaru Crater (campsite) to Senaru Village.
● 06:00 Breakfast
Having breakfast while you enjoy the nature of beauty.
● 07:00 Preparing
Prepare yourself to continue down to Torean Village.
● Waterfall Penimbungan
After 1-2 hour walk from the campsite you will see the waterfall.
● 12:00 Lunch
Having lunch at the pos-1 (last service or food from your Porter).
● 13:00 Pos-1 and Gate
After your lunch you will continue walking to the torean village about 1 hour.
● 14:00 Gate and office
Your driver team will stay waiting for you at Torean gate and drive you to the
friendly trekker office, for 30 minutes.
● 14:30 Office and Resting
Arriving at the friendly trekker office you will take all your luggage and take a
bit of rest before the driver drives you back to your next destination.
The driver will be ready when you are ready for driving.

WHAT SHOULD I PACK DURING THE TREK?

Here’s an example of what you need to pack/wear (equivalent for a woman/men):


Useful Guidelines On Equipment and Clothing:
● Headlamps are very important at night especially in peak climb.
● Wear good hiking shoes.
● Wear light clothing on the track, quick-drying clothes and shorts that are more
comfortable going up and down unless climbing the summit.
● Wear warm clothes at night especially at the top of the hike.
● Gloves are really great to wear at night even during a hike to the summit.

● Spray for muscles | Mosquito | Balm.

● Small towel (to worry about the body after bathing in the lake.
