Abstract
The aim of this project is to eradicate wondering jew in agricultural production. Wondering jew is one of
the most poisonous weeds. It is found under class of Trades canta zebrina and found in the family of
commelinacae

The research was done at Shamerere National Polytechnic. This was done to faster yielding capacity

Of its produce

The main objectives of this eradications are as follows

To investigate the nature of wondering jew on the productivity of agriculture

To improve on the yields of agriculture by adopting technical method of farming

Wondering jew has got some of benefits of farmers

They are such as

 Acts as vegetables having content in nutrients

 Helps expectant mothers and increase blood in the body
 It also acts as medicine to humans
 The are feeds to animals, control pests and some fungal dieses hence improving the yields in
agricultural produce

Farmers of Shamberere having yet to know this technique over agricultural production it works these
results to high production

I recommend that the eradication of wondering jew is more importance as it contribute to agricultural
production

It also enables farmers to improve new method of farming and how to control it this technic has also
make farmers to be easier

CHAPTER ONE
1.0 introduction
this chapter covers the background of the study, the statement of the problem, the purpose, the
objectives, the importance and the definition of terms used in writing of the project.

1.1background of the study

the aim of the project is to eradicate wondering jew in agricultural production. Wondering jew it is found
under the class of Tradescant Zebina and found in the family of Commelinaceae

wondering jew has got some benefits to farmers use it as a vegetable having content in nutrients. It also
helps the expectant mothers and increase blood in the body. It asl acts as a medicine to human beings.

They are feed to animals

1.2 Statement of the problem

Farmers In Shamberere National Polytechnic are relatively resistant to pests and dieses. The pests
include aphids and spider mites.

They lack skills and knowledge on how to control the wondering Jew weed.

The problem should be addressed as soon as possible so that it helps farmers to increase their
production

1.3 purpose of the study

it helps to promote uniformity in the field

it helps to lowr management cost of the crop e.g weeding

help farmers to manage other weeds in the farm

1.4 objectives
to investigate the nature of the wondering jew on the productivity of agriculture

to improve on the yields of agriculture by adopting technical method of farming

7
1.5 significance
leads to improvement of agricultural productivity

leads to living standards of farmers

1.6 definition of operational terms

Thinning- is the removal of weeds that are overcrowded to promote growth

Spacing- is the distance between weeds and plant in a given row.

8
CHAPTER TWO:

Literature review
This chapter reviews precious material and studies of eradication of wondering jew in agriculture
production. The aim is first to review was done by fascinating exploration of Roths Galician origin, Dennis
Marks describes Ruth as one of literature Most prodigious liars

The wondering Jew was depicted as an exorcist whose origin remains unclear. The wandering Jew also
plays role in st Leon (1799) by William Godwin. The wandering Jew also appears in two English broadside
ballads of 17th and 18th centuries. The wandering Jew and wandering Jew’s chronicle

Introduction
The purple-green leaves with broad silvery striper and purple undersides are produced along the
succulent stems, which root wherever they Jew will easily hide fallen litter from trees growing above it

9
CHAPTER THREE:

3.0 methodology
3.1 Area of study
The experiment was done at Shamberere National Polytechnic farm. This was done to facilitate faster
yielding capacity of its produce

The plot was 5*5 meters

3.2 research design

The design was practical. The plot where measuring 5*5 meters and a path of 1 meter.

The potion was to eradicate wondering jew in the agricultural production and other crops

3.3 field management practice

These are activities done in the field

Uprooting- these was done by use of hands in order to reduce3 competition with crops for nutrients
moisture and space

3.4 weed control

The following was done to control the weeds herbicides was apply to kill the weeds

Use of hands to uproot weeds

3.5 Data collection

The data was collected through observation and experimentation

10
CHAPTER FOUR

4.1 result
Farmers of Shamberere have yet to know this technique over agricultural production it work. This result
to high production

The plot was measuring 5*5 m on the field

4.2 data analyst

The method of data analysis used where through experimentation, observation and recording where
various crop were grown and eradicate

11
4.3 conclusion
Thereby I concluded that eradication of wandering jew is more important as it enables the farmers to get
high production it is easier since use of hands can be used for uprooting

4.4 recommendation
I recommend that the eradication of wandering jew is more important as it contributes to agricultural
production
