What can you have observed base on the
given set of figures?
- Both pictures have its own pattern
Very good, what do you call that?
- Pattern
Yes, today we will be going to discuss about
Continuous Pattern Using Two Attributes.
D. Lesson Proper
But before that here’s our learning
objectives:
At the end of the lesson pupils should be
able to:
a. identify the pattern in a given
continuous pattern;
b. determine the missing terms in a
given continuous pattern; and
c. demonstrate cooperation in the group
activity.
What is Pattern?
- A pattern is an arrangement of lines,
numbers, colors, sizes, or shapes in
which the same figure is arranged
repeatedly.
Look at the patterns carefully. Which pattern
is the same as the pattern given above?

pattern above.

2. The second set is the same with the

pattern above.

3. The first set is the same with the

pattern above.

Very good, pupils!

Now, let us discuss the different arrangement
of pattern. Like the AB pattern. Examples:
Shapes

A B A B A B

Another arrangement of pattern is the ABC

pattern. Examples: Colors
Another arrangement of pattern is the AAB
pattern. Example: Sizes
