The International Management Program (IMP) is a multicultural
meeting point for emerging international managers. The diversity
of backgrounds and experiences they represent enriches the entire
program. It is a program designed in association with our partner
companies – Alleima, Atlas Copco, DeLaval, Epiroc, Sandvik, Scania
and SSAB – to meet the ongoing needs of international managers in
these global companies operating in a dynamic business environment.

IMP is the first step in a talent development pipeline of SSE Executive


Education Consortium programs, where FEM Executive Management
Program and TIO International Executive Program form the next steps.

YO U R PRO FI L E
The target group is high-potential managers - or newly appointed
general managers – requiring a general management competence
in environments with a strong focus on business results and perfor-
mance. The program also targets talented second-line managers
in need of leadership development before being assigned to more
complex management tasks.

Participants have at least 1-5 years of business experience with


intensive cross-border business relations and are typically in their
thirties. Key characteristics are a track record of success and high
motivation for continued personal development. Normally, 10-15
different nationalities are represented in the group.

PRO GR A M This program will enhance your skills in key general management areas such as
O BJ EC TIVES Business Finance, Digitalization and Innovation. It will develop your strategic ability
to maintain a sustainable competitive advantage, but foremost it will help you acquire
an awareness of yourself as a leader and manager and from there how to lead, form
and develop teams in a global cross-cultural organization.

To meet these objectives, we offer you a unique opportunity to acquire skills, enhance
knowledge and increase awareness integrated throughout the program through a
creatively designed and professionally facilitated learning process, in which the active
participation and interaction of participants are keyvalue components.

You will develop leadership abilities, especially in a multicultural environment,


understand leadership in complex matrix organizations, team leadership and colla-
boration, encourage and lead continuous change. We will especially increase your
awareness of your own and others values, attitudes and behavior in cross-culture
interactions.You will enhance your ability to use essential management tools in
management accounting, business models, communication, collaboration and
transformative leadership.

PROGR AM CONTENT
All topics are integrated through dialog and reflection sessions during the entire program. Participants learn,
bond, and develop exceptional ties with each other.

Participants bring a real business challenge which they get to explore and expand during the program in
consultation teams. A 360° feedback activity is performed between the two modules and is further develo-
ped in the consultation teams. During the final week guests from the partner companies are invited to take part
of presentations by the participants who share their individual learnings and learnings for their companies.
