Jeevan Pramaan / Digital Life Certificate

Introduction
Jeevan Pramaan is a biometric enabled Aadhaar-based Digital Life Certificate (DLC) for
pensioners. It uses the Aadhaar platform for online biometric-authentication. Using
JeevanPramaan a pensioner need not present himself/herself personally before the Pension
Disbursing Officer to obtain a Life Certificate.
Jeevan Pramaan client application captures basic data of the pensioner which has to be
provided by the pensioner like aadhaar number/Virtual ID, mobile number, name, pension
related information viz. PPO No., Pension Sanctioning Authority, Bank Details etc. On
successful biometric-authentication by UIDAI, Jeevan Pramaan i.e Digital Life Certificate with
a unique Id known as Pramaan Id is generated. The DLC thus generated is available online to
the pensioner as well as the pension disbursing authority.
(Virtual ID is a temporary 16 digit number which can be used by the citizen and can be obtained from Unique Identification
Authority of India (UIDAI) to know more about Virtual Id visit UIDAI website.)
Generation of Digital Life Certificate – Where & How

The Pensioners can either Generate DLC themselves or Let Others do it for them. The
Pensioner can register and get a JP/DLC done at the below places:
i) Pensioner can download the JP application (Generate DLC themselves) from the JP
Portal https://jeevanpramaan.gov.in/app/download & install client application on
android based smart Phone/tablet or Windows PC/Laptop for DLC generation.
ii) Pensioner can visit any nearest Centre (having facilities for digital services) like
the Citizen Service Centre (CSC), the Government Office /Banks designated for
generating the DLCs and get themselves registered online using their services.
Pensioner might have to pay nominally for this). The All India List of such CSCs (name
& address) in various States across India is posted on JP portal at:

Authentication and Certificate Generation
Pensioner has to provide the Aadhar and Mobile number an OTP will be sent to the
mobile which is provided online application.
1. Select the Aadhar radio button.

2. a. Enter 12 digit Aadhar number(without any spaces in between)
b. Enter 10 digit mobile number

Click on Generate OTP, OTP will be sent to given mobile number on the application.
A popup screen will be displayed on the screen, need to enter the OTP received on the mobile
number and click on ‘OK’.

A new screen will appear on the screen, here pensioner details needs to be entered.
 Pensioner Name: Name as per the Aadhar Card

 Type of Pension: If Pensioner is a Family Pensioner, need to select the

Family from the list and remaining can be selected as Service. Others and EPS
- 95 are not related to us.

 Sanctioning Authourity: Select ‘Southern Power Distribution Company of

A.P’, from the list (List will be displayed alphabetically).

 Disbursing Agency: Select Southern Power Distribution Company of A.P.

 Agency: Select ‘Agency’ from the list, select the Pensioner related circle from
the list.

 PPO Number: Need to enter the 8 digit Pensioner Id number which starts
with ‘9’. Every Pensioner will have a unique pensioner id.

 Account Number(Pension): Enter a valid account number, Enter the same

account number which is updated in SAP(with APSPDCL) and Change of
account number process will remains same. Given account number in the
application will not be updated in SAP(APSPDCL).

 Check Box: Tick (check) the Check box.

 Scan Finger: Click on the Scan Finger, Finger print scanning device will be
activated and will ask to put the finger on the Finger print scanner.

Jeevan Pramaan Life Certificate copy will be generated from the site.
And pensioner will receive couple of a text message on given mobile number as shown below.

Once the data is received from the NIC to APSPDCL, another SMS will be sent to pensioner as
shown below.
This data will be sent to the concerned unit DE’s in division office, AO’s in Circle office.
Here DE/AO would receive an SMS to mobile number (which is available in SAP User Id) and
Email will be sent to SAP User ID.

DE’s/AO’s should login the SAP and use the T code: ZHR_DLC to verify the data.
Enter the T code: ZHR_DLC
Enter the T code and hit enter.

Here you would see all the DLC to be verified data.
Now click on the Pensioner Id.
A new screen will be displayed, Jeevan Pramaan Data and SAP Data will be displayed and
status will be displayed and if both are matched then status will Green tick mark , and if
anything is not matching status will be displayed Red Cross mark .
Here all the data is matched.
Now user (DE’s/AO’s) has to click on approve button .

Once user clicks on the Approve button a message will be displayed at the bottom of the
page.
Message:
SMS will be sent to pensioner stating DLC is approved.
In-case of rejection.
We can download the DLC form here, click on ‘Print DLC Form’.

A pop-up will be displayed.
Click on Print preview.

DLC Form will be displayed, to download this enter the T code: PDF!

Click on SAVE as and Save the copy or click on print, recommend to save the copy in your
system.

Once the pensioner data is ‘Approved’ or ‘Rejected’ then that record will not be displayed
again.

Report:
To know the how much data received and how many are approved or rejected
T code: ZHR_DLC_REPORT
Enter the T code and hit enter.
Selection screen will be displayed.
