love, strength, and guidance. He gave me the people in my life to be His

instruments for me to succeed. Every day, thank you for keeping me safe. And for

all the blessings He has bestowed upon me.

To my cooperating teacher; Mrs. Ma. Lilibeth P. Hernandez, for providing

me the opportunity to expand my abilities and skills, for your support throughout,

and for sharing her expertise to make this project a successful one.

To Mrs. Ma. Victoria D. Teleb, the school Principal, for wholeheartedly

accepting us and offering us a piece of advice.

vii
DEDICATION

This has been a tough process since I first started practicing teaching. As the

days passed, I faced challenges that pushed me to develop into a much tougher,

courageous, and competitive person. I gained a wealth of knowledge, experiences,

and lessons that I will cherish for the rest of my life, with that, I express my heartfelt

gratitude to our God Almighty, the origin of all strength and knowledge. For He is

guiding me and providing me with the wisdom to accomplish this goal.

To my Family, for their unending financial, emotional, and mental support.

For lavishing me with their tender love and care.

To my Cooperating Teacher, who guided and molded me into a better and

more responsible future educator.

To my Co-Student Teachers who expressed team spirit;

To my Professor and Teachers who equipped us to be an effective future

educator.

To my Cooperating Class, all of the grade six students, for their support and

respect as their student teacher.

viii
SUMMARY OF OJT

My practice teaching experience was both valuable and timely. I've met a lot

of people during my almost three months as an intern at Rodriguez Heights

Elementary School. And I was so grateful that to have this experience has made

me more knowledgeable while also allowing me to share it with others. I used to

learn classroom management strategies and how to be an effective educator from

them. I used it throughout my journey and was about to keep it for the rest of my

life.

They are extremely welcoming upon arrival, from the principal to the school

staff. Every teacher we met along the way gave us encouragement and advice on

how we were going to get through this. Each of the teachers was always willing to

lend a hand. Furthermore, the students I worked with were caring and disciplined.

I had a strong attachment to them. They are responsible for making my internship

memorable. They are the driving forces behind my continued efforts to serve them.

My experience at Rodriguez Heights Elementary School would be imperfect

without the guidance of Mrs. Ma Lilibeth P. Hernandez, my caring and sweet

cooperating teacher. She helped me with everything, from the beginning to the

end. She was never reluctant to share her knowledge with me. She used to give

me pointers on how to improve as a teacher. She pushed me to do my best in

order to succeed.
