EN-AW 3003 [AlMn1Cu]
(Type: medium strength corrosion resistant alloy)
The alloy EN AW-3003 is a medium strength, non heat-treatable alloy with good resistance to corrosion, excellent
moisture resistance and very good weldability as well as good formability. The 3003 alloy acquires strengthening
from cold working only, and are typically used in the automotive (radiators), HVACR (evaporators), architectural and
outdoor applications They offer good corrosion resistance and mechanical properties that exceed 1xxx-series alloys
