1. INTRODUCTION

1.1. Project Overview

PT Pertamina Gas plans to deliver gas from Senipah KP 7.2 (tap off from 42” pipeline) that is
operated by Pertamina Hulu Mahakam to PT Pertamina (Persero) Refinery Unit (RU) V
Balikpapan, East Kalimantan, to fulfill the gas demand at Refinery Unit (RU) V Balikpapan as
part of the RDMP program.
The Onshore Pipeline Senipah – RU V Balikpapan scope will comprise of development of mini
facility in Senipah and RU V Balikpapan area consist of gas metering, pigging facilities, utilities
and an onshore gas pipeline.

1.2. Objective

The objectives of this document is to provide WPS & PQR to ensure a correct and consistent
approach are adopted for Construction and Installation for the Senipah - RU V Balikpapan
Onshore Pipeline and Piping Project.

1.3. Scope

This document provides minimum requirements for WPS & PQR to be performed by
CONTRACTOR during Construction and Installation for the Senipah – RU V Balikpapan
Onshore Pipeline and Piping Project.

2. DEFINITION & ABBREVIATION

2.1 Definition

Definitions used in this document will not violate with other definitions in other documents, which
are:

COMPANY PT. Pertamina Gas, the owner of the Jasa Perancangan,


Pengadaan dan Konstruksi Pembangunan Pipa Gas Senipah –
Balikpapan.

CONTRACTOR PT. PGAS Solution appointed by Company to execute and to


complete overall works for Engineering Procurement And
Construction (EPC) Jasa Perancangan, Pengadaan dan Konstruksi
Pembangunan Pipa Gas Senipah – Balikpapan.

VENDOR / The party which supply materials, equipment, technical document/


MANUFACTURER drawing, and service to perform the duties by the Contractor.

INSPECTION Third Party appointed by CONTRACTOR to carry out certification


COMPANY and act as representatives of MIGAS.

MIGAS Representatives from the Indonesian Government which is


responsible for issuing licenses and permits oil and gas facilities.

PROJECT All documents which are prepared, revised, and issued for
DOCUMENTS accelerating the project execution, such as correspondence,
drawings, specifications, requisitions, purchase orders, vendor
prints, etc.
