1. INTRODUCTION
PT Pertamina Gas plans to deliver gas from Senipah KP 7.2 (tap off from 42” pipeline) that is
operated by Pertamina Hulu Mahakam to PT Pertamina (Persero) Refinery Unit (RU) V
Balikpapan, East Kalimantan, to fulfill the gas demand at Refinery Unit (RU) V Balikpapan as
part of the RDMP program.
The Onshore Pipeline Senipah – RU V Balikpapan scope will comprise of development of mini
facility in Senipah and RU V Balikpapan area consist of gas metering, pigging facilities, utilities
and an onshore gas pipeline.

1.2. Objective
The objectives of this document is to provide WPS & PQR to ensure a correct and consistent
approach are adopted for Construction and Installation for the Senipah - RU V Balikpapan
Onshore Pipeline and Piping Project.

1.3. Scope
This document provides minimum requirements for WPS & PQR to be performed by
CONTRACTOR during Construction and Installation for the Senipah – RU V Balikpapan
Onshore Pipeline and Piping Project.
2.1 Definition
Definitions used in this document will not violate with other definitions in other documents, which
are:
