tougher material such as
plaster, fabric, and occasionally
umbilical cord.
KIDNEY BASIN
- Shallow basin with a kidney-
shaped base and sloping walls
used in medical and surgical
wards to receive soiled
dressings and other medical
waste.
DeBakey FORCEPS
- The specific design of the DeBakey
tissue forceps (striated in a longitudinal
direction) provides a delicate grasp of
soft tissues by minimizing tissue damage.
It is used preferentially during thoracic
and vascular procedures but many
surgeons also prefer to use DeBakey
forceps during abdominal procedures
(e.g. bowel or bladder surgery)
BLADE HOLDER #3
- Size 3, fits blade sizes 10, 11, 12
and 15. These knife handles are
used to create incisions,
transecting, or dissecting. The #3
knife handle is ergonomically
designed and uses smooth
tapered blades that offer precise
control during various surgeries.
BLADE HOLDER #4
- Knife Handle #4 is an extra-fine
style that is used to
accommodate surgical blades
20, 21, 22, 23, 24 and 25. to make

handheld, double-ended
retractor used to retract
primarily surface tissue. It is
often used in plastic surgery,
small bone and joint
procedures, or thyroidectomy
and dissection of neck tissue.
THUMB FORCEPS
W/ TEETH
- Toothed thumb forceps are
used on tissues that require a firm
grip, such as fascia, or for
abdominal wall closure.
THUMB FORCEPS
- Thumb forceps are spring forceps
used by compression between your
thumb and forefinger and are used
for grasping, holding or
manipulating body tissue. They are
non-ratchet style. For example, you
could use thumb forceps to hold or
move tissue during surgery or to
move dressings.
ADSON FORCEPS
WITH TEETH
- Toothed Adson forceps are used
on tissues that require a firm grip
such as fascia, skin or the
abdominal wall. They are widely
used across a range of procedures
including biopsy, dermatology,
minor surgery, vasectomy, and
carpal tunnel.
ADSON FORCEPS
- Smooth Adson forceps are used
for handling delicate tissue. They
are regularly used in exploratory
surgery for gently moving tissue or
for holding it during the suturing
process.
MOSQUITO
STRAIGHT
- Mosquito Forceps type of
Hemostatic Forcep commonly used
to control bleeding with an
effective locking ratchet and
robust grip. Frequently used for
small blood vessels.
MOSQUITO CURVED
- Mosquito Forceps Curved is widely
used in microsurgical procedures.
They are used to obstruct blood flow
in smaller blood vessels with minimal
damage. They are also ideal to be
used with delicate tissues. Curved
design provides extra protection to
the encompassing structure.
NEEDLE HOLDER
- A needle holder, also called a
needle driver, is made from
stainless steel and is used to hold
a suturing needle during surgical
procedures.
ALLIS CLAMP
- The Allis clamp is a surgical
instrument with sharp teeth, used to
hold or grasp heavy tissue. It is also
used to grasp fascia and soft tissues
such as breast or bowel tissue. Allis
clamps can cause damage, so they
are often used in tissue about to be
removed.
HEANEY FORCEPS
CURVED
- For this purpose, the instrument features a pair
of curved jaws that conform to the anatomy of
the pelvic cavity. In addition, the jaws include a
cross-serrated pattern that provides a strong
gripping and minimizes trauma. Also, the device
is available in two patterns with one or two
teeth, which enhance the clamping action.
HEANEY FORCEPS
STRAIGHT
- Heaney Hysterectomy Forceps are
commonly used during the hysterectomy
procedure to clamp off a tough ligament
on both sides of the uterus. The forceps
feature ring handles with a lock mechanism
and serrated blades to firmly grasp the
ligament.
KELLY CURVED
- Kelly Hemostatic Forceps are
primarily used for clamping large
blood vessels or manipulating heavy
tissue. They may also be used for soft
tissue dissection. This instrument can
be used as a clamp, heat sink, or
third hand.
KELLY STRAIGHT
- Single use Straight Kelly Forceps,
used during surgery to compress the
artery, clamp and seal small to
medium size blood vessels or hold the
artery out of the way.
TENETOMY
SCISSORS
- Tenetomy scissors are surgical scissors
used to perform delicate surgery. They
can be straight or curved, and blunt
or sharp, depending upon necessity.
This equipment can be used in many
surgical specialties, in particular
delicate operations in ophthalmic
surgery, oral and maxillofacial surgery,
or in neurosurgery.
Rochester-
Ochsner Forceps
STRAIGHT
- Rochester-Ochsner Forceps are
hemostats that are helpful for clamping
off blood vessels to avoid bleeding during
procedures such as orthopedic surgery.
Rochester-
Ochsner Forceps
CURVED
- Sklar Rochester-Oschner (Kocher)
Forceps are a heavy instrument designed
to aggressively grasp medium to heavy
tissue or occlude heavy, dense vessels.
IRIS SCISSOR
- Iris Scissor is a specialized instrument that
was originally used to dissect the delicate
tissues of the eye during ocular surgeries. It
is now commonly preferred by surgeons
for sharp dissection of sensitive tissue in
Neuro, Plastic and general surgeries.
TOWEL CLIP
- Backhaus towel clamps are most
commonly used to secure drapes to the
patient's skin.
ROCHESTER
PEAN FORCEPS
- Rochester Pean Forceps are used to
clamp bigger blood vessels during surgery
to prevent blood loss. These forceps
feature curved/straight jaws with serration
that guarantee a good grip over the
blood vessel. These forceps have delicate
and long jaws in multiple sizes.

Note : Kelly hemostats can be used to clamp larger vessels or grasp tissue. Kelly
hemostats and Rochester forceps look similar. However, Kelly hemostats have shorter
serrations. Rochester hemostats can reach a little deeper.
BABCOCK
FORCEPS
- Babcock Forceps are ratcheted, finger
ring, and non-perforating forceps and are
widely used to grasp delicate tissues
during surgical procedures. They are
commonly used in laparotomy and
intestinal procedures.
OVUM

scissors designed for cutting delicate
tissue and blunt dissection
MIXTER
FORCEPS
- Mixter Forceps have longitudinal
serrations on their jaws that firmly
grasp the blood vessels to stop the
blood flow. This helps in preventing
blood loss.
MAYO
SCISSORS
CURVED
- Curved-bladed Mayo scissors allow
deeper penetration into they wound
than the type with straight blades.
