KIND OF SENTENCES
GRAMMAR BOX
To make affirmative and negative sentences is important the use of to be
(am – is – are) also in the negative form (am not – isn´t – aren´t)
In imperative form the use of “Modal Verbs” is common. When an
interrogative sentence begins the use of To be helps to formulate it.
In exclamative sentences exist different expressions to show it.
Examples:
Affirmative: I´m a painter.
Negative: I´m not a painter.
Imperative: You have to paint.
Interrogative: Are you a painter?
Exclamative: What a beautiful painting!

TOPIC 3
SIMPLE PRESENT – PRESENT CONTINUE
The simple present is a verb tense with two main uses. We use the
simple present tense when an action is happening right now, or when it
happens regularly (or unceasingly, which is why it’s sometimes called
present indefinite). Depending on the person, the simple present tense
is formed using the root form or adding –s or –es to the end.
LIST OF VERBS
Present Continues express actions that are not finished yet. Those actions are
happening in the time. In grammar the verb must to be modified by ending
ING when verbs end with consonant.
Example:
Reading – Picking – Working – Watching – Flying etc
