Assignment Submission Guidelines
Page Layout
• The document must be word processed and must be printed on one side only, please use
white A4 papers.
• Margins: 1” from each side (Left/Right/Top/Bottom)
• Paper size: A4
• Orientation: Portrait
• Decorative borders, shading and other effects (including decorative clip art) should not be
used anywhere in an assignment including the cover page.
• The typeface (font) used in the text should be 12 point Times New Roman and for headings
14 point Times New Roman.
• Lines spacing should be 1.5 spaced
• Headings in Bold
• Use footer on every page including the title page and contents page (if used).The footer
should contain the following information only:
• Student ID (left justified; i.e. aligned to the left margin) and page number (right justified; i.e.
aligned to the right margin).
• The Assignment should be submitted in PDF format via Email

• The cover page of your assignment must be the first page of the attached Assignment.

• The plagiarism reports from Viper or other online Plagiarism checking tools will not be
accepted by the university
Assignment Submission
• Students who registered for the module can submit the assignment on or before the due
date.
• Do ensure that you have completed your module fees and submission fees on or before the
deadline in order to submit your assignment.
• Students who fail to submit their assignment on or before the given deadline will be
required to do a late submission bearing the cost of LKR 7000 penalty.
• Kindly submit the following 3 documents in one email

- Final assignment PDF (with cover page)
- Plagiarism Report
- Submission Payment Proof
• Always use a fresh email and don't send your assignment just as a reply to any email.
• The submission email subject needs to be as follows:

• Assignments will not be accepted after the submission deadline under any circumstances.
• Strictly follow the instructions for a smooth process of submission.
