How to overcome Anxiety

Anxiety happens to everyone. We all fear when circumstances challenge us and drown us with
impossibility. We can be victorious in our walk in life when we surrender our life to God. Jesus Christ gave
us the victory when he died on the cross and resurrected from the dead. He gave us victory over sins.
Even the struggles we face, such as anxiety, God gives us the victory as long as we give it to him
wholeheartedly and trust that he can deliver you from it.

Ponder on this bible verses when anxiety consume us

Philippians 4:6-7
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving,
present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your
hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

1 Peter 5:7
Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.

2 Timothy 1:7
For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.

Isaiah 35:4
say to those with fearful hearts, “Be strong, do not fear; your God will come, he will come with vengeance;
with divine retribution he will come to save you.”

Romans 8:38-39
For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the
future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to
separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Psalm 94:19
When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought joy to my soul.

Always be thankful for all that God has done. He is to be praised forever. He is powerful. God can change
our anxiety to the assurance of his safety. We can go directly to his throne and find refuge in times when
we fear. Trust that he will deliver. We can change our thinking because God has given us the authority. He
is able to renew our mind to a thinking that glorifies him. Our ability to think should be shifted to the
perfecter of our Faith, Chris Jesus! Prayer is powerful too. We communicate with God and ask him for
guidance. When anxiety attacks again, pray and focus on him. He will listen and always has a plan to
calm and protect you from any harm. Believe and trust that God can do it. Lay your burdens to God. Make
room for joy because God wants us to be happy. We can always ask God to give us the mind to see
things in the brighter side and to think Godly thoughts. I’m reminded in Philippians 4:8 Finally, brothers
and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely,
whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.
