HOA 2021 Stadsig Estate Aesthetic Approval
In accordance with the approved Building Guidelines for the Development, Building Plans for all
dwelling units are to be submitted to the Control Architect (CA) appointed by the Stadsig Estate
Home Owners Association (SEHOA) for aesthetic approval, as per the requirements and
procedures set out under Clause 6: Membership of the Association and Clause 12: Building,
Architectural and Design Requirements of the SEHOA Constitution.
1.0 One (1x) colour electronic copy (PDF) or hardcopy of the building plans must be submitted
to the CA for aesthetic approval prior to Local Authority submission.
3.0 Completed Plan Submission Form (p. 2 & 3) and proof of payment as set out below to be
emailed to den@dmp.co.za BEFORE any plans can be scrutinized.
4.0 Upon receipt of 3.0 the CA will proceed to scrutinize the plans. These plans will be returned
within a period of 10 working days calculated from the Wednesday following the date the
plans have been submitted. The CA will advise on any changes on the design or layout
known in writing to be implemented to obtain aesthetic approval. The comments will be
forwarded to the appointed correspondent by email.
5.0 The plans with changes required (as referred to in 4.0) will have to be re-submitted for scrutiny
to obtain aesthetic approval. No additional fees will be payable should only 1x re-submission
be required.
6.0 Any further re-submissions in addition to 5.0 will incur additional costs (refer fees for re-
submissions below).
7.0 When aesthetic approval is obtained the plans will be stamped accordingly & said plans
may then be submitted to the Local Authority for Building Plan Approval.
