(NEEDLECRAFT)

I. OBJECTIVES
At the end of the learning session, the students will be able to:
a) The students must be able to recognize embroidery's basic stitches.
b) To follow the procedural steps in doing embroidery.
c) The students must be able to assess the characteristics of embroidered
products and packaging.

Presentation of the Lesson
HOLBEIN STITCH
It is also called as Double Running
Stitch, often used to outline
blackwork embroidery.

Its familiar, right? Because the process of

HERRINGBONE STITCH

A herringbone stitch is a
needlework stitch used in
embroidery, Also, HERRINGBONE
STITCH It is basic overlapping
stitch popular in border making.

Bring out the materials again. So, I can


demo it to all of you.

Please be careful because the materials we


used is sharp and we don’t want your
classmates to be hurt. Okay?

You’re Ready?

First is you make a diagonal stitch like this

After you do that, you may point the needle


behind the diagonal stitch and make a
diagonal stitch again to make a mini cross
like this.
