    1.Introduction:

    The department of Mechanical Engineering motivates the students to undergo internship in core
    Industries. As per the regulations 2020, each student has to complete internship for a minimum duration
    of 2 weeks. Internship provides an in-depth knowledge in industrial atmosphere. This internship enables the
    students to understand and learn the current trend in the job market. Internship provides great opportunity to
    get real life experience and exposure. Mechanical Student Internship imparts technical skills

    4.About The Industry: Susee Motors India Private Limited is a division of the Susee Group and is
    a strong player in the market for over decades. It is located at No. 49/50, New by-pass Road,
    Bangalore Chennai highway, Vellore - 632004. The Susee group is a family-owned business
    involved in automobiles, IT and Finance. The group includes automobile "VOLKSWAGEN"
    dealership and Tata Motors dealership (Passenger and commercial) in Vellore headed by Mr.
    Manivannan, the Managing Director. The Susee Motors offers Sales, Services, and Spares (3S) of
    automobile vehicles such as TATA ACE GOLD PLUS, TATA ACE GOLD HT PLUS, TATA
    INTRA V10, TATA INTRA V30, TATA 407 and TATA YODHA. It’s Sales and marketing
    division are crucial pillars of its business. They are closely linked and act as a catalyst for generating
    revenue (profit). While marketing is about building awareness about a brand and organization, sales
    turn that viewership into profits by converting the potential customers into actual customers. For
    each vehicle, a Pre-delivery Inspection (PDI) is carried out prior to the final deliver.. Pre-delivery
    inspection includes various checks to ensure that the vehicle is up to a certain standard. The check
    list followed are: (i) PDI checklist for physical inspection, (ii) PDI checklist for interior inspection,
    (iii) PDI checklist for inspection of electrical components, (iv) PDI checklist for inspection of
    essential fluids, (v) PDI checklist for a test drive, and (vi) PDI checklist for inspection of duplicate
    key. Technically, it is the car dealer's job to conduct a thorough PDI before delivering it to the
    customer. Susee Motors gives more importance to customer satisfaction by providing excellent after
    sales service and spare parts sales.

    5. Outcomes of Internship Training:

     Understand and comprehend the industrial working environment.

     Enriched knowledge related to mechanical engineering field.

     Got exposure to acquiring knowledge and problem solving skills to compete in the job market
    with this experience.
