2. A Lot
“a lot” means very often or very much . It is used as an adverb. It often comes at the end of a
sentence and never before a noun.
Examples:
a. I like basketball a lot.
b. She's a lot happier now than she was.
c. I don't go there a lot anymore.

3. ‘a little’ is placed in front of uncountable nouns; ‘a little money’ means ‘some money’.
‘a little’ can be used as adverb; She is a little confused.
4. ‘a few’ is placed in front of countable nouns; ‘a few friends’ means ‘some friends’.
