Mental health is defined as a state of well-being in which every individual realises his or
her own potential, can cope with the normal stresses of life, can work productively and is
able to make a contribution to her or his community.
Change of Thought
My opinion on mental health has changed over the years, However I believe that they
will continue to remain the same. I also think that it important to make talking about I feel
it is very important in the world we live in to talk about mental health. When talking about
mental health we should discuss that we are talking about the person’s mental state and
not a diagnosis. Our emotions, our feelings, and our thoughts are ways to deal with
Mental Health. When thinking about mental illness this is the way that feelings, behavior,
and thoughts are influenced, sometimes it also shows how we deal with people.
It’s been almost 16 months since coronavirus or also known as COVID-19 was declared
a pandemic in March this year. It changed the world tremendously. Most of us or should
I say, all of us are always worry about it and the effects of it are felt by everyone. And
we all know that the vast majority are already having problems with their mental health
because of it and because of the sudden change of their routines. We are all adapting to
new advice daily and how to keep ourselves going. Mental health is a huge factor during
this uncertain period; cut off from friends and family, unable to go to work possibly, no
gyms, leisure places open or football matches to attend. Workplaces closed; changing
routines or making your own home become an office, or the worry of not earning your
regular wage. There’s a lot of things that can help us to strengthen our mental health
during pandemic. We can use social media, to cope with the stress. But of course we
should be mindful on things we are doing. We can communicate to our families and
friends that are far from us. We can still do some home workouts and other things that
helps each of us cope with the stress or anxiety that we are having because of the
pandemic. Mental health is an ongoing struggle in this country certainly over the last few
years especially now that we are having pandemic but I hope that all of us realize that
we are not alone, we are all experiencing the same thing. And we should always put in
our mind, we should always remember that God will help us strengthen us even the
toughest times. So we must always pray that he will always protect and guide us and
that, this pandemic will soon be over
