Floor finishes
Smooth cement rendered finish shall be free of any Note
trowel marks and rough patches and the colouring
shall be even.
All Tiles to be fitted with tile adhesives. Note
Tiles shall have even grooves of consistent width Note
and the grooves shall be straight in all directions and
be well filled with grout to finish flush with the tile
surface.
Wall finishes
Where different floor finishes meet, where the Note
surfaces are at the same level the surface at the joint
shall show a smooth transition from one finish to the
other with a straight sharp defining line between them
with appropriate separator as necessary.
Where the floor finish and the skirting are of the same Note
materials a coved tile shall be used at the corner of
the floor and skirting or in the event of coving tiles
being unavailable an even width tile fillet will be built
in at 45º at the corner.
