    Contemporary Philippine Arts from the Region – 2nd Quarter – Week 2

    Competency: Identifies/discusses Local Materials Used in Creating Art (CAR11/12TPP-0c-


    e-11).

    Objectives: At the end of the week, you shall have


     Identified the materials used on a specific artwork;
     Discussed how the local materials used in creating an art; and
     Showed appreciation on the local materials used in creating an art by formulating
    steps to preserves it.
    Schedule Activities Reference/
    Resource
    Day 1 Activity 1. Match the materials in the left column to the appropriate Refer to
    finish artwork on the right column below. Write the letter of your enclosure 1
    answer before the number.

    Day 2 Activity 2. Look at each pictures and give the local materials used in
    the artwork. Write your answer on the space provided and discuss
    how this materials were used to from this artworks.
    Day 3 Activity 3.
    Write an essay on how you will preserve the materials used in
    creating an art in your locality. Enumerate the steps on how you will
    do it.

    Day 4 Self-check of all activities (guided by parents or learning facilitators)

    My Artwork Life Experience
    Identify local materials on your place and make an artwork which
    shows your life experiences in life. Reflect it inside the box below.
