Dear Sir/ Madam,
I am pleased to inform you that Guru Nanak Dev University has been given the responsibility to
conduct the following All India Inter University championship for the session 2022-23 by the Association of
Indian Universities, New Delhi. The schedule of the championship will be as under :-

Important :
 It will be compulsory for Taekwondo (Men) teams to leave the accommodation up to
7th Jan, 2023 before noon, so that the accommodation can be provided to the Taekwondo
(Women) teams. Accommodation to the Taekwondo (Women) teams will be provided on 8th
Jan, 2023 morning onwards.
 The Weighing-in shall be done one day before the weight event category as per schedule
attached below.
5 pm to 6 pm : Un-official and 6 pm to 7 pm : Official) at the competition venue.
 The participating Universities must produce the receipt of payment of “Registration Fee” of
Rs. 3000/-, for participation in the tournament which is to be submitted online on the AIU
portal (Letter and Manual for Registration fees is also attached).
I extend a very cordial welcome to your team to participate in these championships at the HOLY
CITY, AMRITSAR. You are therefore, requested to kindly send your University’s entry and detailed entry
(Soft copy unsigned) to this office on our email (directorsportsgndu@gmail.com) by typing on the detailed
entry MS-Excel files attached (Send MS Excel files only). Further, you are requested to certify that
your University has already paid the annual subscription for the year 2022-23 to the Association of Indian
Universities, New Delhi.
Guru Nanak Dev University Campus is situated at about 5 kms. from Amritsar railway station and
about 7 kms. from bus stand Amritsar on the main G.T. road. Metro buses and autos are easily available to
reach the destination. Mess and Canteen facilities are available within the campus.
1. All the teams should report at the venue one day prior to the commencement of the championship.
2. A meeting of the Coaches/ Managers of teams will be held one day prior to the commencement of the
championship at 2:30 pm in the office of the undersigned.
3. Players must bring with them their Identity Cards of the current session duly signed by the
Registrar/Director Sports/Sports Officer of the concerned University.
4. The Organizing Committee reserves the right to change the venue, date, time and order of the
matches etc. to be played as per situation, if and when necessary. The decision of the Organizing
Committee shall be final & binding.
5. The Team Managers are required to submit Four copies of the eligibility proforma duly typed
and signed by the competent authority of the University as per AIU Rules. Incomplete
proforma will not be entertained. No over-writing is permitted on the proforma unless attested
by the competent authority of their university.
6. Team managers and Coaches will be fully responsible for their players to maintain discipline at the
venue and at the accommodation. The team Managers and Coaches must have authority letters.
7. Officiating Charges shall be charged as per latest rules of AIU.
8. Participating teams are requested to bring with them their own locks. All teams are responsible for
their belongings.
9. Teams are requested to report at the match venue 30 minutes before the start of the match in proper
sports kit.
10. It is compulsory to submit the AIU participation
ELIGIBILITY INSTRUCTIONS:
1. The latest Eligibility rules will be followed in this tournament which is also available on AIU
website.
2. The participating university should submit attested photocopies of 10th class certificate (DOB proof),
DMC of 10+2 class and last class passed certificate. Without these the players will not be allowed to
participate in the championship.
