DETAILED LESSON

PLAN
IN
ENTREPRENEURSHIP

I. OBJECTIVES
At the end of the 60-minutes discussion, at least 80% of the students are expected to:
1.) Define Entrepreneurship, its relevance to the organization and factors affecting Entrepreneurship;
2.) Identify the competencies in Entrepreneurship and;
3.) Classify the types of Entrepreneurs and know the career opportunities of Entrepreneurship.

II. SUBJECT MATTER


A. Topic: Introduction to Entrepreneurship
B. References: Merriam Webster Dictionary and Grade 12 Entrepreneurship PDF
C. Materials: Laptop and Projector (optional)
D. Concepts: To understand the importance of Entrepreneurship in our society.
E. Values Integration: Respect to each other’s idea; cooperation; and appreciation.

III. LEARNING PROCEDURE

1 min. 2. Prayer The teacher will ask for a volunteer to lead the prayer.

around.

Ask the learners to guess what the picture shows to give them a
preview of the lesson. Learners will be given time to guess each

22min. 7. Discussion Present a PowerPoint presentation showing what Entrepreneurship


is all about. This is to give the learners an overview of the
Entrepreneurial competencies works in our country. Allow the
learners to compare Entrepreneurship from different countries.

Divide the class into three groups. Together with group mates,
explain either by illustration or discussion the meaning of
“entrepreneurial mind set”. Report in front of the class.

V. Generalization If one possesses the abilities of innovation, this will put them ahead
of the competition because talents are superior to theoretical
knowledge of things. The entrepreneurs are constantly looking to
make connections with other nations in order to broaden their
horizons. Successful entrepreneurs have acquired reasonable
business sense, creativity, motivation, and leadership through
learning experience. Pursuing a career using the entrepreneurship
skills learned through trainings opens up a world of possibilities.

There are no requirements for being an entrepreneur. Critical


thinking, creativity, risk-taking, problem-solving, networking,
leadership, and communication skills are some of the most important
skills and traits for entrepreneurs. Someday, it can be you.
