Conversation Script

Situasi tersebut terjadi di Rosewood Hotel and Resort di Bali. Suatu hari, sebagai resepsionis,
Anda menyambut check-in Amerika berjanggut yang berpakaian buruk ke hotel bintang 5 tempat
Anda bekerja. Sebagai karyawan mahir dengan pengalaman 5 tahun, Anda tahu bahwa Anda
tidak dapat memperlakukan tamu Anda dengan tidak sopan dan menganggap orang ini akan
merugikan hanya karena apa yang ia kenakan. Karena itu, Anda menyapanya dengan baik.
Keesokan paginya, tamu datang ke restoran untuk sarapan, mengenakan pakaian yang sama,
jeans kotor, dan tank top longgar. Itu berarti dia tidak menunjukkan rasa hormat kepada tamu
restoran lain yang peduli dengan kebersihan restoran. Ini benar-benar akan membuat mereka
merasa tidak nyaman. Manajemen hotel harus menemukan cara untuk mengatasi perilakunya
Scenario 1
Receptionist: Good afternoon sir, welcome to Rosewood Hotel and Resort Bali. How may I
assist you?
Guest: I want to check in hotel
Receptionist: Do you have any reservation?
Guest: Yes, the booking name is Mr. John
Receptionist: On behalf of John reservation for three nights
Guest: Yes that’s right
Receptionist: May I see your ID Card?
Guest: Here you are
Receptionist: The room has been paid, here is the room key, you can have breakfast at 7 AM
tomorrow
Guest: Thank you
Receptionist: You’re welcome
(The next morning, the guest comes to a restaurant for breakfast, wearing the same outfit)
Receptionist: Good morning sir, How may I help you?
Guest: How I can have my breakfast?
Receptionist: You can just go to the restaurant
Guest: Where is the restaurant?
Receptionist: You can just go straight then turn left the restaurant is on your right side
Guest: Okay, thank you
(The guest is eating in the restaurant, suddenly the manager hotel see the guest is wearing poorly
dressed)
Hotel manager: Sorry Mr, I got a report that you wearing poorly dressed
Guest: Wait what? Why?
Hotel manager: I got complain from other guest that you wear impolite clothes and other guest
feel uncomfortable, You can see other guest wearing clean clothes
Guest: But this clothes is comfortable for me
Hotel manager: But other guest is feel inconvenient because your clothes is dirty and you don’t
show any respect to other restaurant guests who are concerned with the restaurant's hygiene
Guest: I’m sorry sir
Hotel manager: Could you change your clothes after you breakfast?
Guest: Sure
Hotel manager: Next time, if you come other hotel, you must wear polite and clean clothes
Guest: Okay sir
Situasi ini terjadi di Tuwaga Hotel Bandung, sebuah hotel milik Padma Hotel yang terkenal. Ada
konferensi yang terjadi di hotel, dan kamar-kamar tiba-tiba terisi dengan cepat. Tamu biasa
meminta kamar deluxe yang banyak diminati karena konferensi. Resepsionis hotel berbicara
dengan manajer. Kemudian manajer menawarkan tamu reguler itu upgrade ke kamar yang lebih
baik dengan harga yang lebih baik. Tamu tersebut dengan senang hati menerima tawaran
tersebut. Catatan: Jangan salah mengartikan "tamu biasa" sebagai "tamu non-VIP". Itu tidak
sama
Scenario 3
Receptionist: Good morning, Tuwaga Hotel Bandung. How may I assist you?
Guest: I want to make a reservation
Receptionist: When is the exact date, and for many night?
Guest: For 27th October and for two nights
Receptionist: What type of room do you want sir?
Guest: Is the Deluxe room available?
Receptionist: Sorry sir, the deluxe room is not available right now because there is a conference
happening in the hotel and the rooms are suddenly filled out quickly. Please wait a moment sir, I
will talk to manager hotel
Guest: Okay sir
Receptionist: Ms, so there is a guest who want deluxe room but the room is not available
because there is a conference
Manager hotel: How about we upgrade the room to a better room with a better price?
Receptionist: Alright
Manager hotel: Well Sir, Because the deluxe room is not available, do you want suite room?
Guest: No, because the price room is more expensive than deluxe room
Manager hotel: I will offer you a suite room with a better price
Guest: What do I get at that better price?
Manager hotel: The suite room has include kitchen net, bathtub, and shower.
Guest: What about price of suite room?
Manager hotel: The price is Rp. 1.500.000 per night include the breakfast and dinner
Guest: What is the normal price?
Manager hotel: The normal price is Rp. 2.000.000 per night
Guest: What about the price of deluxe room?
Manager hotel: The deluxe room is Rp. 1.200.000 per night
Guest: Wait a moment ms
Manager hotel: You get a big advantage sir, the different price is only Rp.300.000 and you have
got kitchen net, bathtub and shower
Guest: Okay, I will choose the suite room
Manager hotel: Well sir, How will you settle the payment?
Guest: By cash
Manager hotel: The total is Rp. 3.000.000
Guest: Here you are (give the money)
Manager hotel: Thank you for the reservation sir. Have a nice day.
