Business Overview

Plastic waste is one of the major problems happening nowadays. Plastic doesn't
decompose with soil. That's why it is the major problem of environment pollution. The
name of our company is ECO-MIST and it will collect waste plastics and recycle them.
Our main objective is to utilize the waste plastics as much as possible. We will collect
waste plastics and recycle theme as we can. We will collect plastics from different
sources and by some process we turn into finished goods (bricks). We consume 100
million tons plastic each year. Govt. are taking many steps to reduce waste of plastic
like make people conscious about plastic waste, use of dustbins, social welfare
advertising. We also take some steps to reduce plastic waste and save environment by
recycle waste plastic.

Problems

 The fact that plastic bags take a very long time to degrade has a significant
negative influence on the environment. Additionally, when plastic bags
decompose under sunlight, hazardous compounds are released into the soil, and
when plastic bags are burned, a toxic substance is discharged into the air,
contributing to ambient air pollution.
 Wildlife can be harmed or poisoned by plastic waste that is loaded with
chemicals and frequently consumed by marine animals. Invasive organisms use
floating plastic debris as mini vehicles for transportation, altering habitats, and it
can endure for thousands of years in water.
 Human health is affected by plastic. Nearly all of us have toxic substances in our
blood and tissues that leach out of plastic.
 Plastic contaminates our groundwater and draws in other pollutants.
 Plastic contaminates the food chain.
 The removal of plastic costs billions.
 Physical effects on marine life include hunger, entanglement, and swallowing.
 Impact chemical: the accumulation of persistent organic pollutants, such as
PCBs and DDT.

 Economic impact: harm to shipping, tourism, and fisheries.


 Plastics are typically produced using non-renewable resources.
 Plastic pollution makes up the majority of the pollution in the oceans.
 Plastic pollution may have several financial effects.
We need to utilize energy so we can recycle it.

Solution:
As we can see many problems are arising due to plastic wastes. ECO-MIST will do its
best to give unique and wonderful solution. Basically, ECO-MIST will reuse and recycle
the plastic is a unique way. Recycling and reusing of the plastic is the best way to give
the solution of this problem by doing this country environment will also be ecofriendly.
Moreover, it is not so costly as the product and making with the wastes. people will also
get encourage. By recycling an reusing plastic wastes ECOMIST will produce plastic
bricks and tiles which will help to reduce the wastage of plastics.

We are focused on creating a high-quality product that will lead to a sustainable
environment and will create maximum value addition for its customers. Recycling plastic
waste and utilizing them. Creating awareness about plastic waste.

Product and Service


Product
Our product name is 'plastic bricks & Footpath Tiles' which was first invented by Binish
Desai.
The plastic bricks used for further in construction projects due to its light weight and
economic purpose. The plastic use in the many forms in the construction like bricks,
tiles, road pavements etc.

Service
We will deliver our products to our customers using our own vehicles. Our product will
be available at different construction stores and our Eco-Mist App were people can get
our products and also consultancy about plastic waste utilization.
We will develop an app 'Eco-Mist' where people can provide us their daily plastic
wastes. There we will also have an option for consultancy where we will suggest people
about how they can use their plastic wastes in other ways.
People can contact us through our app to use our plastic bricks to construct their build
and can also take suggestions on how they can build.
And also, people can get interior products in exchange of plastic wastes they will will be
providing.

Process
The process involves company employees taking plastic waste, mix it with sand, and
heating it, with the ensuing brick being a powerful 5 to seven times stronger than
concrete. The plastic's fibrous nature makes the bricks associate degree exceptionally
sturdy material and lighter compared with regular bricks.

 We Will buy plastic bottle poly packet and any other plastic items from those
people who collect West plastic items and solve them to others.

 We will set up to both in our target area like TSC and chowk bazar so that people
can put their plastic in our both and we will tell amount for bottle to them anyone
can exchange with money in our both

provide their plastic towards we will make people aware so that they give us their
unnecessary plastics.

 We will collect plastic from Sadarghat in a wholesale price

Target Market

Target market means our potential clients. Our potential clients would be government,
new entrepreneurs, developers, architecture, and engineers, those who will build house
in the next 5 years. Our main target will be government, developers, and engineers. The
nature of our business will be B2G and B2C. Government will help us with their projects,
and we will suggest consumers to work with or product. As our products are budget
friendly than usual bricks made from soil.

The key reasons that our clients will use our services are:
• Ensuring the best service in the lowest possible cost
• We manufacture Bricks and Tiles from Plastics which is generally not done by any
other company in the country

We would follow a value-based pricing strategy to enter a market aware of the


implications of using plastic. As the product is new in the market, we will have to
concentrate our funds in the promotion of our product, the implications of being
environmentally aware and to make people understand the need to purchase and
support our eco-friendly product.

Promotional Strategies
Our company uses the following promotional strategies:

Government:

Our main target will be government. We will try to negotiate with government and work
on government projects. As our product is eco-friendly and will heal the environment
day by day we hope government will come forward and work with us. If government
projects ar done through our plastic bricks people will get to know more about it.
Government can also make a policy about using our product in some specific cases,
which will help to increase our demand. We will get engaged with political leaders so
that they can let our product in to the government and promote it. We will offer a
proposal of being a partner in our business or giving commission.

Engineers and Developers:

We will introduce our products to the engineers and developers so that they can let
people know about our product and suggest them to work with our product. As they get
various projects to work with, we will ask them to promote our products and make
people use our product. In exchange we will offer them commission. Through artificial
intelligence we will find out those people who will build their house in next 5 Years then
we will introduce our products to them by ourselves and through developers and
engineering and environment agencies.

Internet:

Social media is currently the most effective form of promotion. Individuals proficient in
social media usage will be given a commission to promote the company to its highest
achievable level. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and similar social media outlets will be
used to spread the word about the good that can come from using plastic wastes. We
will have our own website, which will display the portfolio of the product to capture the
attention of global market.

Collaboration:

Green marketing is a recent phenomenon in the developed world. It is about


environment-friendly products marketing and creating awareness among the customers
about the environment so that they are inclined to use green products. Plastic brick is
an eco-friendly product that can replace plastic wastes. We will introduce our product
firstly to the brands who have already claimed themselves as an environment-friendly
brand, since their company ethos will be similar to ours, and will collaborate with them
on various projects to market the product.

Awareness campaigns:

In order to market the product, initially, campaigning programs will be conducted to


raise awareness among the customers about the impact of the product on the
environment and people’s health. These awareness campaigns will be conducted with a
view to educate people about the benefits of using our product, and thus, in the long
run, to increase the sales and usage of plastic bricks. We will do some seminars and
campaigns in school, college, and universities. It’s a great opportunity because if we
can catch the attention of young generation our product will get more demanding.

Order fulfillment:

Customers can place their order by our Eco Mist App for either pickup or delivery. Then
we will fulfill their order in our estimated time as per their requirements. They can also
get it through the developer or engineers they will be contacting for building their
houses.

Operational plan
The advance preparation for any operation to achieve the goal is operational plan. The
operational plan of our organization ECO-MIST is we collect raw materials from our
selected sources (from Shadarghat, booth, beggars and some poor people who collects
bottles). We bought plastics to our factory through our owned vehicles. Then we recycle
those plastics and innovate bricks in our factory. We target developer companies,
construction sites, and government agencies to use our product thus environment
pollution decrease. We will also motivate people to use plastic bricks through
advertising and many other promotional tools We will sell our product having less profit.

Goals

 In the 1st year for survival, we hope to keep your costs down and reinvest as
much as possible into the company to survive the first year in the market.
 Over the next 1-year market percentage is vital for a enterprise to survive. Our
organization targets to growth income to benefit aggressive advantage, and
therefore benefit a more marketplace percentage.
 In the 3rd year increase customer retention. Winning customers is the only way a
business can be sustainable. Our goal is to keep our existing customers and
attract new ones by offering unbeatable promotional deals.
 By the timeframe of 5 years, we will try to reduce cost. The startup cost of this
project is high because it requires a lot of capital. The success of the project
depends on effective cost control measures. Our product helps you save money
and use resources more efficiently.
Business Model

Eco mist is a partnership business of 5 member. The profit sharing is equal. Every
member will invest in this business equally. And it is mainly B2B business which is
business to business. And for the first 2year we will take 50% of profit and the rest profit
will be invested in business.

The amount of investment acquired for 5 general partners of the venture values 65%
ownership. The 35% has been kept aside for future seed investments required by the
organization, which was mutually agreed by all five partners.

Introduction
The management team consist of people who utilize and manage the organization’s
resources to achieve its goals and objectives. The management team coordinates
various functions of the organization. It consists of top managers who take important
decisions. The managers provide directions to the employees and make sure that the
standard or the quality of the product or service of the organization is maintained by
controlling function. They set the policies and strategies for the organization.

Chief Executive Officer (CEO): Pratik Saha

Makes significant decisions and oversees the company's overall operations and
resources. He worked with ACME Group for ten years as a product manager. He holds
a bachelor's degree in marketing from the Independent University of Bangladesh and a
master's degree in business administration from the University of Toronto.

Chief Financial Officer (CFO): Md. Sakibul Islam

Sakibul has completed his BBA in Finance and has a master’s degree in the same
subject. As a CFO, he is apt in financial planning, decision making, knows about global
market values, and has also acquired essential knowledge on business mechanism
operations. Therefore, it is believed that he holds the perfect position of being a CFO.

Chief Marketing Officer(CMO): Maisha Fabiha

Analyzes the target audience; plans and implements marketing campaigns and
promotional activities for the company. She graduated from Independent University
Bangladesh and worked for Unilever Bangladesh for four years as an intern.

General Manager (GM): Kaniz Fatama

Kaniz has a degree of BBA in Management and has also gained master’s degree for the
same subject. She completes all the requirements that a company/brand needs
someone as a manager for betterment.

HR Manager and Landowner: Nishat Tasnim

Recruiting, employing, and retaining highly qualified people. He holds a bachelor's


degree in management from Independent University of Bangladesh and has worked
with PARTEX Group for the past six years. He will provide the property on which the
factory will be erected, as well as keep check of the factory and its operations.

The main target of our company is to protect our country from plastics and balance the
Ecosystem. As we know plastic is extremely harmful for our environment, for our soil
and also for our health that's why our company will work to recycle those plastics and
we will try to ensure our healthy environment. Our company will provide plastic bricks
that will be made from recycled plastic. Since the main material of our company is
plastic it's mean the environment will not polluted by any plastic product. Our plastic
bricks will 5 to 7 percent stronger than normal bricks. Anyone can purchase it in
reasonable price. So, it will be beneficial for our society. On their other hand as we need
workers for our work, our company will provide job opportunities to people who really
need work. Through this our company will help to remove unemployment problem from
our country. Our service will be Eco friendly and if our products become unusable, we
will recycle it again. Our products and services will improve the environment and our
society.

Conclusion
So, in conclusion to the advocated plan of which our company is proceeding to is first
business through cost efficiency, material availability material durability and strength
secondly environmental welfare awareness and recycling. Our aspiration is that we're
turning a global problem into a business which will solve the issue and take people into
environmental awareness and welfare and the possibilities and practicalities of turning
this simple idea into fabricated use of a worldwide problem into both a solution for it and
also a great process of profitability margins and expansion on a epic proportion. The
wholesome part of the plan is that the company can achieve great heights as there is a
flabbergasted quantity of waste plastic that we can remodel into something that will not
harm the environment rather save it from being destroyed within the region of human
consumption.
