Make Difference with the help of HR Consulting Firms (Benefits

of HR Consulting Firms

There is an increasing trend in the Industry for employing the services of HR Consulting agency.
Especially when your organization is expanding its operation than it’s better to completely focus
on the growth and let HR professionals manage your People operation strategy. But the decision
makers in an organization must consider an important question when taking the help of a
consulting firm. That question is why we need a Consulting firms. In simple words, what’s
organization’s objective of going into such collaboration.

1) Reserving Cost:
Several surveys report that average national salary of an HR professional is $69,472, while an
HR Manager’s average annual salary is $91,406. It is important to keep in mind the recruiting,
onboarding, and benefits costs that come with finding the right HR staff member. When saving
the cost –effective operations are your targets than HR Consulting firms are best options.

2) Employing Latest HR Tools & Technology

When companies grow and  expand they have to invest most of their time and funds for meeting
the bottom-line and can’t afford to supply money for Latest HR systems and tools. Therefore the
only way to fulfill this necessity is by employing the services of a HR Consulting Firms which
have both the latest HR tools and the Professionals to drive those tools successfully.
Here are some examples of HR tools consultants use.

3) Staying Compliant with Continuously Changing Laws

As with the advancement in the field of HR there are also amendments and improvements in the
laws and regulations for HR practices. Businesses have to stay updated about them, but in order
to focus on their organizational goals, they take the services of HR consultants who help
businesses to make the decisions which are in compliance with the state laws.

4) Acquiring Services of Field Professional

HR consulting firms have a team of experienced professionals which can remove all the burdens
of  aligning HR functions with your company goals. Hiring candidates for the internal HR
Department can take enough time and cost as they will need time for training and getting
comfortable with the company’s environment. Taking a professional's assistance can reduce the
chances of wrong decisions and conserve time and cost.

5) Becoming a Global Employer

Companies that are expanding outside state or national borders—as well as those that are
opening multiple locations—are subject to multiple (often complicated) state and local laws.
Navigating and complying with these laws is very difficult without expert guidance. To do this
on your own, businesses have to:
Understand employer requirements in every state in which you do business
Follow the laws applicable to business in those states
Find hiring, onboarding, and training best practices for each of the states and sites they have
businesses in
This research alone is time consuming and can be difficult to parse. Now, add in the growing
remote work population, and even the basics—communicating with team members and
engaging remote employees—are more complicated.

6) Getting Customized Solutions to your HR Issues.

Most clients today are seeking tailored solutions rather than the one-size-fits-all approach, so an
HR consultancy that offers bespoke solutions can stand out from the pack.

7) Let you Focus on Attaining Bottom-line

Globally expanded businesses already have so many issues for which they need to take out time
to deal with. So Consulting firms are like a miracle for them as they don’t have to worry about
issues related to their Human Capital as it’s in the safe hands of the group of professionals.

8) Analyzing Marketing activities

Before making any changes and suggestions to the HR strategy of an organization, HR
Consultation firms explore the market treds and practices as well as the position of company in
the market.

9) Training for Latest Softwares

As consultants stay updated with the current establishment of systems and softwares they can
help an organization in installation of new systems and prepare their workforce to operate those
systems.

HR Consultants versus HR Business Partners

resources-related need. Often they are hired leadership to develop and direct an HR
to provide high-level solutions and agenda that closely supports organizational
recommendations to management teams. goals.

relatively narrow as you are operating in and management. Rather than performing
existing defined processes. the day-to-day trainings or dealing with
policy wording or the details of benefits
packages and hiring, the HR business
partner works with the big picture.

HR consulting Firms using the Art of Promotion to get More

Clients:
Just like any other business consulting firms have to do the marketing of their services in order
to increase their client base. For the service generating firms, their satisfactory service is what
expresses their expertise and credibility, which in result more client conversion and retention.

1) Direct Mail Campaign

The big consulting firms like PwC and Deloitte use Direct mail which is a powerful way to target
exactly the audience you want to reach. They create or rent a targeted prospect list, then send
prospective clients a sales letter, brochure, flier or "lumpy envelope" with a gift enclosed, all
describing the consulting services they offer. Consulting firms understand the worth of content
that’s included in their direct mail.

2) Cold Calls
Another way to reach out to prospective clients is through cold calling, which is the process of
contacting prospects who weren't expecting a sales call from you and trying to sell them on your
services. Most people absolutely abhor cold calling, but it’s never a bad idea to directly approach
your prospective client especially when starting a new business.

3) Advertising
Because traditional advertising can be expensive, it's important to spend your advertising
dollars wisely. Depending on the type of services you offer, it may be necessary to advertise in
specialized trade journals or magazines. In addition to placing ads in the full print run of a
publication, you also should consider advertising in any specialty sections that might include a
"Consultants Directory" or "Directory of Consulting Services."
Another useful though expensive advertising tool is your local Yellow Pages. You'll automatically
receive a line ad (consisting of your company name and phone number) in the Yellow Pages
when you install a business phone line, but you might want to consider taking a larger ad in the
book--people often assume that since you've spent extra money on that display ad, you may be
more established and even more professional than those consultants who didn't advertise.
When big firms advertise, they take the help of Advertising agency just like Deloitte takes help of
the union and Pixel people for their online advertising. According to reports, PwC also partners
with 17 Digital Marketing Agencies to execute their online advertising.

4) Digital Presence
As we know that Digitization was the source of making this world globalized, so it’s impossible
for any business to excel without having a digital presence. IN order to take this advantage, HR
consulting firms have also started to dip their toes in the pool of digitalization to expand their
networks, build their credibility and even increase business. It’s creating many opportunities for
them to get more engagement, followers and bring awareness to their networks about their
recent developments.

Most part of your digital presence is based on social media sites; therefore the marketing team
of such HR firms should focus on result oriented digital marketing strategies.  There are ways in
which HR firms have advantage for using social media:
− Increase clients as well as to reach as many candidates as possible.

− Helps in recruitment efforts. If your social media has a huge number of followers then
there is probability that required candidates will be attracted towards your recruitment
advertisement.

− Helps HR firms to get candidate verification through their social media account.

− Helps in staying updated about latest trends and practices

− Staying connected with the HR community.

5) Case Studies on Websites

Case Studies on the website is a big pull. This is because people want to know how your solution
can help them. If you title the article like “5 ways XYZ company improved their marketing
performance by 100%” And write a full fledged case study. This acts as a strong content piece
and a lead generator, if you have the right call to action.

6) Networking with local Business

Developing and maintaining relationships with useful contacts in the market is vital for success.
The clients based in the same region are the best source of getting awareness about the industry
practices for the HR related activities. So maintaining good connections with companies should
be the priority of HR Consulting Firms.

7) Review Sites and Client Testimonials

In today’s worlds getting the knowledge about how a firm is performing and serving the society
has become really easy. Because there are many ranking and reviewing sites are working which
take review from general audiences who have used a service. Consulting firms can make review
from such sites a source of new clients by getting good ratings from current and former clients.
In order to do that consulting firms should focus on how to generate satisfied clients. Most of
the big consultants share review of their globally recognized clients on their websites and social
media sites.

8) Referrals and Word of Mouth

This often-overlooked method of finding new clients is an easy marketing activity. All you have
to do is wait until you've finished your consulting assignment, confirm that your client is
completely satisfied, then ask for a referral. Rather than putting your client on the spot, send a
note or a short letter thanking them for their business and asking for the names of any
colleagues, friends or business associates who might be good prospects for your services. You
can also incentivize a current customer to bring in one of their friends or colleagues.

The legality of their collaboration

When big partnerships and associations happen just like Pwc collaborating with AF Fergusons it
opens the door of opportunity for the local firms. Partnering with international network includes
benefits like having a big arena for business growth and develops diversity of expertise. But
before such collaborations both the firms have to set some goals and boundaries for their
consortium which is a common practice in the networking of local and international firms
collaboration.

When local consulting firms join hands with global consulting network, they are considered
members of that network i.e., A.F Fergusons is called a member of PwC Network. After
collaboration, Local firms add the name of global network after their name in order to represent
the partnership.

As it is considered suitable that accounting firms should be locally owned and independent. This
is the reason why any local firm cannot act as a regional corporate office of the global network.
This is the reason why PwC, Deloitte, KPMG and other global Consulting firms consists of firms
which are separate legal entities in their respective countries. The firms that make up the
network are committed to working together to provide quality service offerings for clients
throughout the world.

The Global Consulting networks like PwC, KPMG and Deloitte generally do not practice
accountancy or provide services to clients. Rather their purpose is to facilitate coordination
between member firms in the network. Focusing on key areas such as strategy, brand, and risk
and quality, the Network Leadership Team and Board develop and implement policies and
initiatives to achieve a common and coordinated approach among individual firms where
appropriate. Member firms can use the resources, practices and methodologies devised by the
global network and can request for their support.

Besides member firms have to maintain some predefined standards and policies while providing
services using the name of global network. Member of such global network are not legal partners
with one another. Many of the member firms have legally registered names which contain the
actual name and logo of Global consulting network, however there is no ownership by the global
network. A member firm cannot act as agent of Global Network or any other member firm,
cannot obligate Global Network or any other member firm, and is liable only for its own acts or
omissions and not those of Global Network or any other member firm. Similarly, The Global
Network cannot act as an agent of any member firm, cannot obligate any member firm, and is
liable only for its own acts or omissions.
Consortium of International Consulting Networks

It is always best to join hands with those having same objective. We can see the implementation
of this thought by the Big 4 consulting firms as they are joiing hands to improve their services
effectiveness and efficiency. Although these 4 companies are considered to be competitors and
always been compared for their services and performance. Still the advancement of Blockchain
technology in accounting has made these firms to increase their involvement in this regard.

On Aug 10, 2021 Big Four' accounting firms Deloitte, Ernst & Young, KPMG and PwC held a
meeting to discuss forming a blockchain consortium. The Big 4 is the name given to 4 major
accounting and Audit companies of USA which provide audit and consultancy service to about
80% of US public Companies.

The meeting was organized at Microsoft's headquarters in New York City, the event marks
the first meeting between blockchain specialists from Deloitte, Ernst & Young, KPMG and PwC.
In this meeting, the industry players are observing the suggestion of making a joint accounting
and blockchain industry consortium."

Consortium of Pakistan based Consultants

In order to access the advantages of partnership, some Pakistan based companies have also
came forward to join hands with other consultants to bring satisfactory services for their client.
