    TASK 1: Describe these photos in 2 sentences

    1. The first photo illustrates a tandem


    skydiving.

    2. They’ve just stepped out of the


    plane because they’re still at a very
    high point above the sky.

    1. This photo depicts an amazing


    scenery of mountains, river,
    greenery and clear sky.

    2. There’s a chair in the foreground of


    the photo, so we may come up with
    a guess that someone enjoying this
    view as much as we do.

    TASK 3: explain the difference between these words

    VOCATION VS VACATION

    I suppose vocation is a word appeared from devote which means do dedicate, so vocation is
    the activity someone dedicates life to, and the word vacation is a common word which means
    to take some time off from work.

    LATELY VS LAST TIME


    Lately means for some period, which can be different according to the context (the last
    couple of days, weeks, months or even years). When last time means the ultimate time or the
    opposite of the first time. For example, the last time I saw you, you had dark hair and now
    you’re blond.
    OPPORTUNITY VS POSSIBILITY

    Opportunity means to have a chance to accomplish something. Example: If I had an


    opportunity to live abroad, I would choose Sweden. When it comes to possibility here we
    can say that it probability that something is going to happen or not.

    TASK 4: Correct the mistakes in these sentences (1 per sentence). Explain what’s wrong.
