    1 Ensure the materials used are as per the approved submittals

    2 Ensure that the shop drawings used are approved by certain authorities.

    3 Ensure that all located earth pit as per approved shop drawing

    4 Ensure that earth rod is fixed properly

    5 Ensure that the conductor loop from earth pit to another is installed.

    6 Check the copper conductor is connected with earth electrode at earth pit.

    7 Ensure that all bolts are tightened.

    8 Ensure concrete inspection pit with cover is provided


    Ensure that the transformer body earthing is terminated on the main earth bar

    installed at the sub station
    Ensure that earth bar of right size is installed in a proper location in the

    electrical room
    11 Ensure that earth conductor from L.V Switch gear is connected to earth bar
    Ensure that the earth continuity conductor for the incoming/outgoing cables
    12 and earth ring of the cable glands are terminated on earth bar/earth terminals of
    the respective panels/DB's/Equipment/trunking etc..
    13 Ensure all contact surfaces of connections are thorougly cleaned and tightned.

    14 Ensure that test link is provided and all connections are tightned.
    Check the continuty of earth cables from respective main earth busbar to earth
    15
    pits..
    16 Ensure that earth pits and earth cables are labelled properly.
