MAJOR/GRAVE OFFENSE. These are serious cases where an investigation of the matter in
accordance with due process will be done to determine the extent of the violation of the stated general
rules and regulations on proper norms of conduct and decorum.
1. Gross Misconduct
2. Cheating and stealing.
3. Assaulting a teacher of any other school authority or his agents or students.
4. Smoking inside the school premises.
5. Vandalism, writing on or destroying school property like chairs, tables, windows, books,
laboratory equipment and others.
6. Gambling of any sort.
7. Drinking intoxicants and liquor.
8. Carrying and concealing deadly weapons.
9. Extortion or asking money from others.
10. Fighting causes injury to others.
11. Using, possessing, and selling prohibited drugs.
12. Hazing in any form or manner whether inside and outside the school premises.
13. Immorality or sexual harassment.
14. Instigating, leading or participating in concerned activities leading to stoppage of classes.
15. Preventing, threatening students or faculty members or school authorities from discharging
their duties or from attending classes or entering school premises.
16. Forging or tampering with school records or transfer forms.
MINOR OFFENSE: All offenses not included in the foregoing enumeration shall be considered a
minor offense, including but not limited to.
1. Absenteeism, cutting classes and tardiness
2. Failure to wear prescribed uniform.
3. Wearing a cap and the like inside the school building specially inside the classroom.
4. Wearing earrings for the boys and more than a pair of earrings for the girls, outlandish
hairstyles, painting of tattoos, over accessories and body piercing.
5. Patronizing suspected prostitution den,
6. Using profane language to insult another.
7. Littering (plastic cups, bottles, candy wrappers or any waste) inside the school campus specially
inside the classroom and corridors.
8. Loitering and staying inside or outside the school during class hours.
9. Bringing, using and selling of pornographic materials.
10. Using different gadgets like cellular phones, ipad, psp, etc during class hours unless used for
educational purposes.
11. Public display of affection (PDA) like holding hands, hugging, kissing, necking, petting and
fondling.
12. Unruly behavior during assemblies, religious services, etc.
13. Going to restricted places.
14. Selling stolen goods in school.
15. Refusal to display school ID prominently and placing stickers and other objects on school ID.
16. Sitting on tables, standing on benches as sitting with feet up and legs wide apart.
17. Writing or drawing on a fellow student’s books and notebooks.
18. Borrowing without returning.
19. Spending for personal use of funds entrusted to him/her.
20. Refusing to obey a student leader when the latter is discharging his/her duty or representing an
authority.
21. Irresponsibly playful like pulling a chair away when one is about to sit; hiding another's property;
blocking another’s path, etc.
22. Disrespectful to the national flag and singing of the national anthem.
23. Spitting elsewhere
24. Chewing bubble gum inside the school during class hour and placing bubble gum on chairs,
walls,etc.
25. Urinating elsewhere or in appropriate places.
26. Voyeurism
27. Not giving letters to parents.
28. Bullying includes physical, emotional, mental and cyber-bullying (RA 10627 and DepEd Order No.
55, s. 2013)
29. Other analogous acts that may endanger/threaten any learner, school personnel or the school.
1. No students are allowed to leave the campus during the school hour. In case of emergency
parents or guardians must fetch the student.
2. Students must ask permission from the adviser with the Guidance Counselor. In case of
sickness the clinic-teacher in-charge will approve the permit before leaving the school campus.
3. Respect the School personnel all the time
4. No students are allowed to roam around the school campus while classes are going on.
5. After dismissal of classes no students are allowed to enter again the campus
IV. ATTENDANCE
Regularity of attendance and punctuality are required in all classes. A student who has been
absent should present a letter of explanation from his/her parents or guardians or to bring them to
school for a short conference with the section adviser or guidance counselor as the case may be.
7:30 AM Flag Ceremony – all students are required to attend the flag ceremony
( every Monday). Gate will be closed at 8: 00 AM.
V. PENALTIES
A. The penalty shall be commensurate to offense committed. The following are the corresponding
penalties that shall be given to the learners.
MINOR OFFENSE
First Offense - Reprimand with counseling with parents.
Second Offense - Suspension of 1-2 days with counseling with parents.
Third Offense - shall be treated as a grave offense, thus 3 days suspension, with counseling.
GRAVE OFFENSE
First Offense - Suspension which shall not exceed three (3) days, with counseling.
Second Offense - Suspension for 4-6 days, with counseling.
Third Offense - Suspension for seven (7) days, with counseling.
Suspension is the penalty imposed by the Student Disciplinary Board for serious violation of
the School Rules and Regulation to deny or deprive an erring learner of attendance in classes for
a certain period of time. Student who is suspended is barred from attending his/her
classes for a certain number of days depending on the degree of offense committed.
Certain tasks or assigned tasks must be given to the student for the period of his/her
suspension. The parent or guardian of the suspended student shall likewise advise to see and
confer with the Guidance Counselor for this purpose and coordinate with the adviser regarding
lessons missed by the suspended student.
