    After the teaching of lesson, the students will be able to know
    1. To know about computer hardware.
    2. To know about how to use computer hardware.
    3. To know function of keyboard.
    4. To know function of mouse.
    5. To know function of CPU.
    6. To know about CD room and its function.

    Computer system, charts, pointer, marker, white board and textbook.
    4. Teaching Method:
    Lecture cum Discussion Method

    5. PREVIOUS KNOWLEDGE
    i. What is name of machine used in information technology?
    ii. Which part of computer is called brain of computer?
    iii. Which part of computer display the picture and other information’s?
    iv. Do you know different parts of computers.
    6. Announcement of the topic
    In the light of the last question the teacher will announce the topic before the class and write the
    topic on white board. Today we shall read the hardware of the computers.
    7. Presentation
    student will be shown computer system and before operating the computer they are told about the
    names of the hardweres of the computer such as computer, keyboards, mouse, CPU system, CD,
    CD room, printers and scanner. After this each part will be explained before the students and the
    function of these parts are also explained before them. Then the teachers calls each student to show
    name of hardware of computer one by one. After this the teacher tell the students for operating the
    computers.
    The students are involved in the activity of computer operation. The teacher also showed the
    different charts and modeled of computer hardware.

    8. Individual practice
    Every student will be given different photos and different parts of hardware of the computer and
    they are told to name the different hardwares.
    The teacher will divide the students and form the four groups containing 5 in each group and
    different tasks will be assigned to each group.
    group 1 is to be asked for making . Group two is assigned for to prepare the list of proper nouns
    of your class. Furthermore, to prepare the list of home furniture, writing of names of school
    teachers and list of solar system is assigned to group 3-4.
    9. Assessment:
    Students are asked to question after group practice
    1. What is computer?
    2. What are the names of computers hardware?
    3. What is function of CPU?
    4. Why do we use keyboard?
    5. Why the computer is used in mathematical problems?
    10. Homework.
    The students will be assigned homework to write the names of the computer hardware and their
    uses or function in your note book at home and I shall check your home work tomorrow.
