B. INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS:
The computer systems in the ICT lab, the Internet, students’ textbooks and printed notes
C. PREVIOUS KNOWLEDGE:
The students can identify the computer parts from the previous class.
D. INTRODUCTION:
Ask questions on previous topic and call on students to answer:
i. Mention the computers parts that you know and their respective uses/functions.
i. The teacher gives various definitions of a computer, identifying the keywords to the students.
ii. He defines the meaning of a computer system to the students, pointing out the keywords.
iii. He mentions and briefly explains the components of the computer system.
iv. He mentions the parts of the physical component (hardware) of the computer system, displaying them
to the students for visual identification.
v. He explains and demonstrates the uses/functions of each physical part of the computer.
The students would be able to identify physical and nonphysical components of the computer
system.
G. STUDENTS’ ENGAGEMENT IN THE LESSON:
The students defined the computer according to their individual understanding, as well as the
meaning of the computer system. They also identified the different components of the computer
system, as well as their uses/functions.
Both teacher and students reiterate the key points and terms from the student’s text and notes.
J. CONCLUSION:
The teacher ends the lesson by reemphasizing the terms frequently mentioned during the lesson.

C. PREVIOUS KNOWLEDGE
The students can identify the components of the computer system.
D. INTRODUCTION:
Ask questions on previous topic and call on students to answer:
i. What are the main components of the computer system?
The students engaged in small group discussions on the possible functions of each
component of the computer.
Both teacher and students discuss on the relationship between the components of
the computer.
