Summary of activities.
Managing Drought Crisis in different parts of the country to save more lives and coordinating refugee
reduction, and increasing food security for upcoming humanitarian crises.
Assessing different zones together with stakeholders that have faced emergency support in food and
non food items to give response.
Report to (NDRMC) National Disaster Risk Management Commission on food misuse, losses and
miss proportion of relief, TSF, Targeted Supplementary Food and PSNP, Productive Safe Nate
Program; food resource to the Regional Coordinators.
Together with the Food Management Improvement Program (FMIP) focal person, I have overall
responsibility in monitoring Commodity Management Procedure Manual (CMPM) implementation
ensuring proper use of tools reporting and proper documentation set at (FDP) Food Distribution Point
at woreda and zonal level.
Providing materials, food items for IDPs; International and Internally Displaced People in political
causes, wars and other personal cause.
Ensuring coordination and implementation of relief(TSF) (PSNP) activities and FMIP activates to
ensure proper management and efficiency in time delivery and distributing the food and non food
items to the beneficiaries.
Ensure accountability of resource through collecting, analyzing data for preparation of delivery and
distribution that updates from woredas as a weekly basis and including the numbers of beneficiaries,
dates of distribution and share with (ORDMC) Oromia Disaster Risk Management Commission.
Work closely with relief (WFP) World Food Program, PSNP and TSF focal person and other program
staff at Region, zone and woreda level.
As needed, travel to the zones, woredas and (FDPs) Food Distribution Point for on the job technical
assistance and monitoring food delivery and distribution.
Provide technical assistance to improve food storage, handling and management at FDP and woreda
level according to CMPM, Commodity Management Procedure Manual.
Assist in preparing food distribution plan of rounds for each woreda and FDPs and submit its report to
(ORDMC) Oromia Disaster Risk Management Commission Coordinators (Core FMIP) Food
Management Improvement Program at Region level after it is endorsed by the woreda and kebele
officials.

Implement long-term solutions in food security by helping our partners in different parts of the country
and create sustainable development issues.
Based on the field level, I am working including with program managing committee, disaster
responses, operational functions (HR, Finance & Logistics), technical expertise and grants managers.
I have been planning, monitoring, evaluating the project budget which donated by Pact-Ethiopia,
USAID,FHI360 and Child Fund
Ensure the quality of the implementation of the agriculture for livelihoods and program in both Rural
Ethiopia.
Design and put in place alternative off-farm and on-farm IGAs, market oriented livelihood
interventions, business & entrepreneur development.
Giving regular training for vulnerable women, from grass root community, from government sectors on
different issues such as creating micro-enterprise, self help group (SHG) and economic strengthening.
Lead food security and livelihood aspects of technical assessments in coordination with other thematic
areas and/or other external sector agencies.
Ensure provision of program quality in all aspects of design, planning and implementation of food
security and livelihood interventions.
Ensure the tracking, monitoring and quality reporting of all food security & livelihoods programs.
Complete budget pipeline planning, monitoring and monthly follow up in collaboration with senior
technical staff.
