1. Purpose

This procedure provides guidelines to cover situations where the absence of operational
controls could lead to deviations from the QESH/ IMS policy and the objectives.

2. Scope

These guidelines cover all planned and unplanned operational work activities whose
process activities are associated with identified QEHS events within the operation of T&D
CLEANERS LIMITED.

3. Responsibility

MR and all Departmental Head/ supervisors

4. Procedure

4.1. All operational work and its identified significant risks and aspects should have
documented procedures as their absence may lead to deviation from T&D
CLEANERS LIMITED’s scope of work including the IMS policy and the objectives in
order to meet the requirements below.

 Work procedures should be defined, stipulating the necessary detailed requirements


as well as the work instructions for every assignment.
 The various risks (both health and business) and environmental aspects should be
clearly defined showing the precautions and requirements.

4.2. All staff undertaking work orders related to the identified significant risks and aspects
should undergo specific induction for exposed staff and on-the-job training for new
staff on the tasks they are to perform.
4.3. Resource provision and utilization

I. Resources including raw materials, PPE, and utilities for each job shall be
provided.
II. The risk aspects, applicable legal requirements, controls and consequences of
deviation related to particular resources and Work environment should be
provided for the safe use and handling of the resources.
