    Fundraising Internship

    Congratulations, You are now a part of Muskurahat Family!


    What is Fundraising?
    Fundraising typically refers to efforts of gathering
    funds to operate and run a Non-profit
    organization, or for social work.

    Non-profit organizations play a vital role in the


    society as they solve major problems and help
    those who are in need.
    Other organizations like retail businesses,
    multinational companies, etc. have the money to
    run the organization and operate projects through
    selling products and services, or by the funding
    from investors.
    To make a difference, to solve problems, to help
    those in need, an NGO raises funds to carry out its
    operations.
    Hence, as a FUNDRAISER, you’ll be the backbone of Muskurahat
    Foundation.
    The higher the amount we raise as a team, the greater the
    impact.
    What is your role?
    As a fundraiser, you will be raising funds for the
    projects of Muskurahat Foundation.

    Qualities like Persuasion, Story-telling,


    communication skills, and presentation skills will
    be put to test.
    Your role will be to reach out to as many people as
    possible through your personal connections and
    portraying the ideology, execution, and impact of
    the project.
    Don't worry, you will be provided with all the
    information and trained every step of the way.
    How can the donor
    trust us?
    • Muskurahat Foundation is government certified
    NGO under the under the Bombay Public Trust
    Act, 1950. Which means, the NGO is audited, and
    is answerable directly to the government.
    Everything we do is completely legal and
    accountable.
    • We are also 80G certified under the Income tax
    Act,
    • 1961. Which means the donor will get tax
    exemption.

    • We are a 7 year old organisation and in it for the
    longer run with the vision to future-proof the next
    generation by working on their holistic
    development today.

    What will you learn?
    Communications Skills:
    Communication is the No.1 requirement to shape your
    career. This internship revolves around communication
    as you will be bridging the gap between the NGO and
    the Donor.
    Persuasion skills
    Influencing people, and selling your idea is not easy. Its
    a skill that takes time to build and this internship is an
    opportunity to influence people to contribute towards
    helping those in need.
    Marketing Skills
    Marketing, as we know, is a crucial tool to sell an idea,
    product, or a service. You will focus on selling an IDEA.

    Core team
    Himanshu Goenka (Founder & President)
    • The person behind Muskurahat's vision is a young passionate social worker
    who has set out to change the world one smile at a time! Entrepreneur at heart,
    he specializes in Intellectual properties. He has played a vital role in promoting
    entrepreneurship amongst school students through 'India's Future Tycoons'.

    Ayush Khandelwal (Co-Founder & Vice-President – Operations):


    • The man of action at Muskurahat is an engineer turned brother to hundreds of
    kids. With his impeccable management skills, go getter attitude and charming
    smile he makes sure work gets done, done in the best way possible way. He
    joined Muskurahat as a volunteer in 2016 and became an integral part of the
    team
    Sneha Powar (Vice-President – Strategy):
    • Sneha helps organisations build capacity in social development programs,
    CSR and monitoring and evaluation. She is also passionate about skill
    building and works with youth and professionals through training in life skills,
    education and professional development.
