    What is STEAM Education is an approach to learning that uses


    Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Mathe-

    STEAM? matics as access points for guiding student inquiry,


    dialogue, and critical thinking.

    Using STEAM education results in students who take


    thoughtful risks, engage in experiential learning, per-
    sist in problem-solving, embrace collaboration, and
    work through the creative process.

    STEAM教学制度主要专注于科学，科技，工程，美术及数学
    什么是 的培养。通过这个教学制度，学生将收获勇于发问，沟通及批
    判性思考的技能。
    STEAM? 通过STEAM教学制度，学生将收获勇于冒险的精神，并且将

    STEAM Our economy requires so much more than just an un-


    derstanding of Science and technology – it requires
    application, creation, and ingenuity.

    STEAM takes STEM to the next level: it allows students


    to connect their learning in these critical areas togeth-
    er with arts practices, elements, design principles, and
    standards to provide the whole pallet of learning at
    their disposal. STEAM removes limitations and replac-
    es them with wonder, critique, inquiry, and innovation.

    现今社会讲求的是知识的运用，创意以及独创性。单单STEM
    教育制度是不足以培育出以上必要的条件。

    STEAM将培养孩子将其所学的知识与艺术联系起来。STEAM
