4. Please note that the BACKPLATE can be reversed according to your desired
(2) MOUNTING SCREWS mounting directions ( please refer to Option A and Option B). The lantern
might be assembled as Option A or B while shipment . If you want to
(2) OUTLET BOX SCREWS change to another mounting method , please loose the HEX NUT and then
(not supplied) remove the LOCK WASHER, NIPPLE and SPACER. And then rotate the
FIXTURE SUPPLY WIRE BACKPLATE and align the hole with the another mounting hole on the
and GROUND WIRE BACKPLATE SUPPORT ARM. Proceed to place the SPACER back between the BACKPLATE
SOCKET Option B and SUPPORT ARM. Locate the NIPPLE through the hole on the BACKPLATE
( 2) MOUNTING BALLS
and SPACER and thread into the mounting hole on the SUPPORT ARM .
DOOR BOLT Secure with the LOCK WASHER and HEX NUT. Hand tighten until snug .

5. Place the CROSSBAR on the BACKPLATE and align the holes in the BACKPLATE
BOLT
with a set of threaded holes in the CROSSBAR. Install the (2) MOUNTING SCREWS
in the aligned threaded holes on the CROSSBAR. Next, mount the CROSSBAR to
the outlet box with (2)OUTLET BOX SCREWS (not provided).
7. Carefully tuck all wires into the WALL MOUNTED OUTLET BOX and position the

fixture over the outlet box. Align the HOLES in the BACKPLATE with the
( 2) MOUNTING SCREWS attached to the UNIVERSAL CROSSBAR. Pass the
HEX NUT
fixture over the ( 2) MOUNTING SCREWS and secure against by threading
LOCK WASHER ( 2) MOUNTING BALLS onto end of screw. Tighten until snug.

SPACER 8.Refer to Page 2 for fixture caulking installations.
9. Restore power to the installation point ON. Retain this sheet for future reference.
Note: Be sure EXTERIOR WALL SURFACE and FIXTURE BACKPLATE are free to dirt to
EXTERIOR GRADE caulking. Using EXTERIOR GRADE CAULK, start on one side of FIXTURE BACKPLATE and
CAULK follow contour, were the FIXTURE BACKPLATE meets the EXTERIOR WALL SURFACE
upward. Proceed to caulk over top of backplate and down other side. DO NOT CAULK
BOTTOM OF FIXTURE BACKPLATE to ensure proper moisture drainage.
