CHAPTER 1

INTRODUCTION

1.1 Background Industrial Work Practices (PRAKERIN)


Each student vocational school graduates are required to have a skill and ready to
work for vocational school graduates are usually not recognized by the business /
industry. Therefore, it held a Dual System Education program (PSG) is to implement
the Industrial Work Practices (PRAKERIN) so that every student vocational graduates
have experience in the business world before entering the real business world after
school.
In accordance with the results of the observation and study of the Directorate of
Education and Vocational holding pattern in SMK not explicitly able to produce
graduates as expected. it can be seen from the learning conditions are not conducive to
generating a professional workforce, because a person's professional expertise is not
solely measured by the mastery of the elements of knowledge and techniques work, but
it must be equipped with the control issue (arts) works good. There are two parties, ie
educational institutions and employment (industry / company or a particular agency)
are jointly implementing a program of vocational skills. Thus both parties should be
involved and responsible for the program from the planning stage, the stage of
implementation, to assessment and determination of students graduation.

1.2 Benefits of Industrial Work Practices (PRAKERIN)


Industrial Work Practices (PRAKERIN) is a system of learning is done outside the
teaching and learning process and carried out at the company / industry or relevant
institutions.
The general implementation of Industrial Work Practices program intended to
increase students' knowledge and skills in the field of technology, the adjustment to the
actual situation, gather information and write reports that are directly related to specific
objectives. After students carry Job Training Industry program specifically students are
expected to gain experience that includes an overview of the company, and the
practical activities that are directly related to technology. And prepares students /
students to learn to work independently, to work in a team and develop the potential
and expertise in accordance with the interests and talents of each.

Operation of Industrial Work Practices (PRAKERIN) at SMK aims to:
a. Produce a quality workforce, the workforce has the knowledge, skills, work ethic in
accordance with the demands of employment.
b. Strengthening the link and match between vocational schools and the world of
work.
c. Improve process efficiency and effectiveness of quality education and vocational
training.
d. Give recognition and appreciation for work experience as part of the educational
process.
e. Equip students with real experiences in the world of work, as preparation to adjust
to the world of work and society.
f. Students can improve self-confidence, in solving various problems or difficulties
encountered.
g. To realize the knowledge gained from the school with the actual work in the
company.

1.3 Purpose of Industrial Work Practices (PRAKERIN)


Any activities undertaken certainly has its benefits, as well as activities prektek
field work has been completed. The benefits of job training activities has been the
author carried out are as follows:
a. Professional expertise gained from working practices in the field, can improve self-
confidence, which in turn will push to improve the professional skills at a higher
level.
b. The travel time to reach the professional expertise becomes shorter. After
graduating school with job training, no longer require further training time to reach
a level of expertise ready to use.
c. Exercising discipline, responsibility, initiative, creativity, motivation, kerjaama,
attitudes, emotions, and ethics.
d. Increase knowledge about the job in Notary Office. We gained a lot of knowledge
about the variety-say: files, documents for further processing.

CLOSING

3.1 Closing
A work definitely has a weakness, the author feels that the work that has been made
is still a lot of shortcomings. Therefore, the authors always welcome any suggestions
and criticisms that can build our spirit in order to create a better than ever
For writing the afterword in this task, the authors praise pray to Allah SWT who
has given his grace so that with patience, fortitude, and the toil I can finish this job
well.
Hopefully what has been the writer explained in this task, it can be especially
beneficial to authors and readers in general. Thus this report is made, may be useful.
As the author would like to thank those who helped me in this activity. This only can
the authors collated over conduct work practice in the industry Notary Office Nurul
Laili, SH.

3.2 Conclusions
Event Industrial Work Practices (PRAKERIN) is a very rewarding activity for
students, and may know more about how to work in the appropriate field of expertise
of each student. So that students can see an overview of the activities in the field of
business in the future. As well as the students know the standards of competence that
will be employment opportunities and working opportunity.
In the business world it takes discipline was quite good. Usually, government
organizations and private sector need employees who are disciplined, skilled, diligent
and intelligent. In Industrial Work Practices (PRAKERIN) this required considerable
expertise. During authors implement the Job Training Industry (PRAKERIN), the
author feels proud to be able to get the science that has never been writers get and
gained a lot of experience.
Another objective industry work practices (PRAKERIN) is to add broad insight for
students, especially in the areas they occupy. And Industrial Work Practices
(PRAKERIN) has been implemented properly and without any hindrance.

3.3 Suggesstion

For students who will carry out work practice Industry (PRAKERIN):

a. Must be disciplined in carrying out the work, and must be timely


b. Diligent in doing the task given
c. Do not be afraid to ask the employees / staff if things are still not understood
d. Keep in doing something researched in advance so as not to make mistakes
e. Try to behave well so as not to besmirch the good name of the school

For School:

a. Teacher mentors must provide direction and attention to their students before
implementing Industrial Work Practices (PRAKERIN)
b. Schools must provide innovation and motivation for the students who will carry out
the Job Training Industry.
c. Increase the power of thought and mental students to be able to run the Job
Training industry (PRAKERIN) smoothly.
