PRODUCT
BULLETIN
Nº 12 MARCH 2004 PB14/Rev1
The first stage of standardisation was to adopt a metric standard for all parts. Due to
this it was found to be unnecessary to maintain the “M” suffix on our parts which
previously designated metric, i.e. C039M. The second stage was to standardise part
descriptions as per IFS514. The third stage was to eliminate unnecessary suffixes
from part numbers i.e. EAM029A.
To eliminate any confusion, this process will be implemented on a part for part basis
with an accompanying product bulletin, highlighting the details of all changes and
serving as a quick reference until such time as the new part numbers and
descriptions are entrenched.
Refer to Table 1 for a detailed list of the old part numbers and descriptions and the
new part numbers and descriptions that will be effective from 24 November 2003.
Refer to Table 2 for a detailed list of the old part numbers and descriptions and the
new part numbers and descriptions that will be effective from 19 March 2004.
