The document discusses gender equality and falling in love. Regarding gender equality, it agrees that while rights have improved for men and women, discrimination still exists for the LGBTQ+ community. Everyone deserves equal rights and respect regardless of their gender. Falling in love is a temporary feeling, but real love allows both people to grow into their best selves either together or apart. Real love is deeper than infatuation and means accepting someone fully.

About Gender Equality
1. What did you learn from the presentation? Gender Equality has been one of the issues that are continuously being raised and fought for a long time now. While men and women have already received and enjoyed the rights and opportunities given to them, a lot of people belonging to the LGBTQ+ community still struggles to attain such. They have been discriminated by a lot a people just because they want to be the persons who they want to be. One of the things that I learned from the presentation is that we should all respect each other no matter what gender we choose to belong to. If some of us cannot accept that there are some people who belongs to the LGBTQ+ community, then the least we could do is to respect them and the rights that they are fighting to have. 2. Do you agree with the presentation? Why or why not? Yes, I agree with the presentation. It is true that there are still issues with regards to gender equality and a lot of people still do not accept that the LGBTQ+ community exists. Discrimination between men and women whether in terms of work, financial capacity, household, voting rights, etc. was somehow lessened but it still exists. The LGBTQ+ community are still continuously fighting for the rights that they should have and are continuously waiting for the society to accept them as who they are. While it is okay to have different opinions about this matter, we should not keep our hearts and minds closed to these people- men, women, lesbians, gays, bisexuals, etc.- who just wants to live their lives and receive equal rights and opportunities like the others. We should all respect each other no matter what gender we choose to belong to. If some of us cannot accept that there are some people who belongs to the LGBTQ+ community, then the least we could do is to respect them and the rights that they are fighting to have.
3. What insight/s did you gain from the presentation?
We should learn to accept and respect all people no matter what gender they belong and choose to belong to. Everyone wants to feel accepted in the society they are in and received equal rights, protection and opportunities. Also, we should avoid discriminating other genders as it will do no good not only for the other people, but also for us. Love and respect each other as how God loves us.
What is it to Fall in Love
Based from the excerpt of Falling in Love by M. Scott Peck’s” The Road Less Travelled”, I realized and learned three things when it comes to love. First, even though two people are together and are in love, they have to understand and accept that both of them still have their own lives to live, ambitions to pursue and time to spend alone or with other people. We should not hold back the people whom we love to do the things that they want. Second, real love is something more than the feeling of falling in love. It is something deeper that even though we try to stop it, it is inevitable. Loving the person not only by his/her good and beautiful side, but also his/her ugly side and flaws. Third, real love can give something that the feeling of falling in love cannot. Real love enables both people to grow and nurture to become the best version of themselves either on their own or together, simply falling in love cannot. With these, we should not look for love because it we do, it may just be simply a temporary feeling of falling in love. Instead, let love seek us because it is something uncontrollable that will happen in the right time and with the right person.
