    Past Perfect Tense adalah tenses yang


    digunakan untuk menunjukkan peristiwa
    yang terjadi dimasa lampau dan terus
    berlangsung ataupun selesai dimasa
    lampau berikutnya.
    Pola Kalimat Verbal

    Pola kalimat verbal :


    (+) S + Had + Verb-3
    (-) S + Had + Not + Verb-3
    (?) Had + S + Verb-3 + ?
    Contoh Kalimat Verbal Past Perfect Tense :
    (+) We had visited the zoo.
    (-) We had not visited the zoo.
    (?) Had we visited the zoo?

    Pola kalimat nominal :

    Contoh Kalimat Nominal Past Perfect Tense :

    Fungsi Past Perfect
    • Past Perfect Tense mengungkapkan kejadian di
    masa lalu sebelum kejadian di masa lalu yang
    lainnya.

    • Past Perfect Tense digunakan dalam kalimat


    pengandaian (Conditional Sentence) tipe ke-3.
    If I had known your number, I would have called you.
    Present Perfect Tense

    Present Perfect Tense adalah peristiwa


    yang terjadi di masa lampau dan masih
    berpengaruh hingga sekarang. Present
    perfect tense biasanya digunakan pada
    saat tindakan yang terjadi di masa lalu dan
    masih punya pengaruhnya hingga
    sekarang.
    Pola Kalimat Verbal

    Present Perfect Tense dalam bentuk verbal :


    (+) S + Have/Has + V3 + O
    (-) S + Have/Has + not + V3 + O
    (?) have/has + S + V3 + O
    Contoh bentuk verbal :
    (+) I have finished my work.
    (-) I have not finished my homework.
    (?) Have I finished my homework?
    Pola Kalimat Nominal

    Present Perfect dalam bentuk nominal:


    (+) S + have/has + to be 3 (been) + non verb
    +O
    (-) S + have/has + not + to be 3 + non verb +
    O
    (?) have/has + S + to be 3 + non verb + O?
    Contoh :
    (+) She has been here for 20 minutes.
    (-) She has not been here for 20 minutes.
    (?) Has she been here for 20 minutes?
    Penggunaan Present Perfect Tense

    1. Present Perfect Tense digunakan untuk menyatakan


    suatu kejadian yang terjadi di masa lalu (past) tapi
    memiliki pengaruh pada masa sekarang (present).
    Contoh: Andi can not go on holiday because Andi has
    broken his leg.
    2. Present Perfect Tense digunakan untuk memberikan
    informasi baru atau untuk mengumumkan kejadian yang
    baru terjadi. Biasanya ditambahkan "just" dan "already".
    Contoh: The road is closed. There has been an accident.
    3. Present Perfect Tense diguanakan untuk menyatakan
    kejadian yang dilakukan pad masa lalu (past) dan masih
    terus dilakukan sampai sekarang (present).
    Contoh: I have explored 20 countries in the world.
    Future Perfect Tense
    Future Perfect Tense adalah tenses
    yang digunakan untuk menyatakan suatu
    peristiwa yang akan telah terjadi atau akan
    telah selesai dilakukan diwaktu tertentu di
    masa yang akan datang.

    Future Perfect Tense dalam Bentuk Verbal :


    (+) S + Will/Shall + Have + V3 + O + Adj / Noun / Adv
    (-) S + will/shall + not + have + V3 + O + Adj / Noun / Adv
    (?) Will/Shall + S + have + V3 + O + Adj / Noun / Adv

    Contoh Kalimat Verbal :


    (+) We shall have arrived in School at 10.00 o’clock.
    (-) We shall not have arrived in School at 10.00 o’clock.
    (?) Shall we have arrived in School at 10.00 o’clock.

    Future Perfect Tense dalam Bentuk Nominal :


    (+) S + Will/Shall + Have + Been + O + Adj / Noun / Adv
    (-) S + will/shall + not + have + been + O + Adj / Noun / Adv
    (?) Will/shall + S + have + been + O + Adj / Noun / Adv

    Contoh Kalimat Nominal :


    (+) I will have been at Grandma House by the end of the week.
    (-) I will not have been at Grandma House by the end of the week.
    (?)Will you have been at Grandma House by the end of the week?
    D. Penggunaan Future Perfect Tense

    Penggunaan Future Perfect Tense


    adalah untuk menyatakan suatu tindakan
    yang akan dimulai di masa depan dan
    akan telah selesai pada waktu tertentu
    pada masa depan.
    Contoh: I started writing a thesis last
    month. By the end of next month I will
    have written it
